The world suddenly entered an ice age, and as the apocalypse arrived, over ninety-nine percent of humanity couldn't withstand the extreme weather and died.

In his previous life, Ye Xingchen didn't have much food to eat, but in order for his beloved campus belle to have something to eat, he didn't hesitate to open the door during the apocalypse. In the end, however, all his survival resources were snatched by several strong men the campus belle brought, causing him to die tragically in the cold.

Reborn one month before the ice age, Ye Xingchen swore to make these people pay tenfold.

He awakened his spatial abilities, possessing a three-hundred-hectare dimensional space. In this life, he no longer lived just to survive but crazily stocked supplies worth billions and built an apocalypse fortress.

As the ice age arrived, while others were almost freezing to death, he was swimming in a warm pool.

While others were killing each other for a bite to eat, he was savoring an 82 Lafite, eating the finest Kobe beef, enjoying a banquet, and watching movies leisurely.

One day, when some people discovered that Ye Xingchen's house was stocked with countless delicacies and was warm and comfortable, they went crazy and wanted to rush in.

But they soon realized that this wasn't just a house. It was an apocalypse fortress that even nuclear weapons couldn't break open! Collapse

In our country, its normal to name our dogs by the color of their fur. Like blacky or whitey. So i dont have any opinion really of little black or little white.

At first. There were many plot holes, many stupid mistakes by the MC that were covered up entirely by strong plot armor. But at least it could be taken semi-seriously and was at least a decent read.

However. Mid way into what is currently posted the author decided that there wasn't enough pressure, there wasn't enough risk because he ignored the loopholes he had created earlier in the plot and made things just work when logically there should have been a lot more trouble and the building speed and process was completely illogical for the level of security provided.

So the author committed the grave sin that destroys immersion completely.

The MC died miserably in his first life, when he was reborn he had one stated motivation and one motivation that he didn't really state but executed through his actions. Survival in comfort and revenge.

Through the plot armor he managed to achieve both quite nicely in spite of his many, many loopholes. But at this point the author seems to have become bored, seems to have thought, it feels like there isn't enough pressure, like things aren't risky enough to get clicks. So instead of making use of all those loopholes he left and ignored, he instead completely forgets that he gave the MC the primary motivation of comfortable safe survival life. And decides that the MC who does not have any powers that truly make him more than most ordinary humans, should go out of the safe environment he made, to gather supplies that he doesn't need, for people who were at least partially responsible for his death in his previous life and who had attacked his house in this life trying to murder him and steal his supplies.

He does this, ostensibly to make them a force he can use, but in this very first decision he does not use them but goes out on his own to risk himself to provide supplies for them in the rear? Utterly inconceivable...

I'm done. Rant over. Book dropped.

Just got to that part myself and was very disappointed. From "having a front man lead the neighbourhood" just a chapter or 2 earlier, to going out into the cold, because the "frontman" decided that MC should deal with the outside invaders for the safety of everyone is a jump I wasn't expecting.

Overall very disappointed in the novel, constant requirement to shut off my brain. Like how celltowers are still working while there is a Blizzard outside, in a time when electricity is being "rationed". Which is another issue: it is much harder to turn on and off generators when to just keep them running, which is why excess electricity gets sold/stored instead. As for what happens with a lack of electricity, in order to give everyone some, intentional brownouts are created, where each region takes a turn not having any through closing off other regions from the grid temporarily. So giving out a time for the whole country, for when electricity is available to everyone clashes with both these points. I could go on, but I made my point.

Mm.. Exactly, though as I said I was able to tune out most of the technical problems of the super plot armor by just imagining that it was an alternate reality where everything just magically worked different.

But when the author himself states and gives a clear prime motivation and then violates it, inexplicably and without any real reasonable cause. Ugh. There is no way to tune it out. Which is quite sad, because as much as the novel required brain shutdown to read the idea and general outline could have been a fun novel.
