    I knew it!!! I was wondering where Charlie went when they said they need a second mate before departing. I thought he retired because he was old or something.

    Wait, if the past recording Charles remembered Charlie that means he was also assimilated into the Inexistence this remembering everything. So how was he back of Narwhale? So there's a way to Exist again.
    This could be the reason Charles was wearing that bracelet to prevent Anna from stopping him. I don't remember him having such a bracelet before.
