Tbh honest I never really understood the point of seeking to live forever alone and seeing everybody you know die. You will never appreciate life if more life is the only thing you chase. everybody trying to be like son wukong but there's only one goat

This would be way more exciting if it weren't my 5th or 6th simulation novel, but exciting nonetheless. Hopefully it isn't just this simulation factor that made people call this book peak.

Mmmm, the pursuit of immortality. The goal of many men and women from around the world throughout history. Not really relevant to the novel, but some of the ways people have tried to achieve immortality come in many forms, but most were extremely dangerous and or deadly.

One that comes to mind was Emperor Qin Shi Huang, who consumed mercury, and promptly died from mercury poisoning at 49.

Alexander Bogdanov, who apparently believed blood transfusions would keep one healthy, spry and youthful, and passed away when he transfused into himself, the blood of one of his students with malaria.

Pretty morbid. Anyhow, this is relatively similar but more game-like than RTOC, and the main character seems a little more wilful in the early days. He lived a good life and slept like a billionaire straight out of playboy mansion. We shall see what happens next.
