I prefer the later part of the plot over the earlier chapters. In these later chapters, the author picks up the pace and makes it feel like the main character is engaging in something meaningful, like acting. This is quite different from the earlier chapters, where the main character is bogged down by numerous subplots focused more on publicity than acting
