    The cons of this novel for me is only this. And it become repeatable and unbearable.

    You get in problem because your mind lacking -> mad at immortika

      You see, here he made it clear that the scriptures are intended specifically for an heir like him who does not recognize reality and doubts everything, even the Scriptures, if you were in his place and fawned over the scriptures and even worshipped him in the end you would have failed miserably with this particular scripture. And he is angry because the Scripture gives him more questions than answers, it's like you have the most powerful computer in the universe that can do anything and you ask him how to use you and he answers you figure it out for yourself and gives you scraps or incomplete information

        doesn't change the fact that Jacob looks like a little kid throwing tantrums every time this type of dialog happens, sure he can question reality and have 0 trust in Immortica but his attitude is that of a petulant teenager , getting angry gets you nowhere he can just as easily calmly threaten it to abandon it if he cant get answers instead of whining like he usually does. Cursed immortality doesnt owe him anything , basically without it he is either goblin food or a bottom feeder at the common plains. he needs a reality check regarding their relationship as he seems to think he is the owner of the scripture and not just another heir among many, he can decide how much he trusts and how much he is going to rely on the scripture but throwing tantrums and acting like he is owed anything when his attitude was always bad towards it is funny especially when it saved his ass last time and even got him a millions years of lifespan his attitude was as if its normal and its even bad cursed immortality didnt start wiping his ass from the common plains.

        moreover he is such a scrooge for lifespan that his threats dont have any sway. first he should show the determination to actually sacrifice important things to get his goals and only then can his threats even hold any sway.

            as you said the book does not tell until you ask, but there are many ways to ask and jacob picks the whining, demanding ,entitled brat way to ask. and most importantly the book doesn't owe jacob any answers outside of questions about cultivating the scripture itself, anything else is perks that shouldn't come with a cultivation book and jacob acts like he is owed all of this like using the book as a radar and an "identify" skill, its all bonuses he was never grateful for and always throws a tantrum when he is surprised by something.

            also i view the book as a demonic object, a lot of other novels have MCs that have demonic objects that are obviously dangerous and some times even act actively against the user, the MCs in those novels deal with these things in many ways some stupid and some smart but this is the first time i see a MC whining to a demonic object. from one side he acts like immortika is trying to harm him all the time and sees it as a threat but then he is outraged when immortika doesn't just hand him the universe on a silver platter while saying "enjoy master", its ridiculous like i said already immortika owes him nothing at all he is just another ant like user amongst millions of others i am surprised it even helped him so much already.

            as for the lifespan given by nyx, although it happened with her ability without the book it would have taken her a lot of time and he wouldnt survive to see it happen, as for dangers due to lack of info, hehe what do you expect? you think immortika should act as a radar for the MC and maybe a divination tool as well?? the MC was over confident and that was what got him into trouble nothing else, him possessing the book getting him in trouble is completely normal and not the books fault but his for letting others suspect it and walking into a trap and acting overconfident after all any treasure can get you into trouble. as for immortika being able to control him i agree it sucks but better this than being dead he should be more carful and wary of it after this but throwing tantrums wont help.

            all in all i like this novel and am going to continue reading it, doesnt mean i cant find flaws in the MC and his main flaw is in my opinion not understanding his own standing in the world and being entitled

                yeah and you sure are a professional literature critic or expert, you can disagree with my views and opinions and if you are up to it even propose your own counter points and thoughts on the matter, but simply dropping in and throwing comments that are quite close to insults without any basis at all is the behavior of a child. if you don't agree and don't want to counter my opinion with one of your own then just dislike the comment that's how civilized people behave.
