      I don't think that would work. Even though the outer dieties are selfish by nature,they are not stupid. If they see like, a group of 4 ATS wondering the cosmos hunting OD,they would realize the time will come when it will be their turn,so they would naturally not want it to reach that point and would band together forming a temporary truce to protect themselves. Thus everyone would find themselves in the same situation as here,but this time the OD won't be motivated to betray each other.
