    I really like how the barrier created by the OC's will is portrayed. It's a physical in a sense and also not. Physical one since the OGs can't enter physically. While not physical since the OG's influence matters in various ways like Corruption through sight and knowledge etc. The barrier can be thought of a arrangement of fate of sorts. When it was strong all the heretics were hunted or hiding. As it weakens they find it easier to move about.

      I agree. I had been wondering why they don't run agrond shouting their outer god's names: a surefire way to corrupt. Same for Termiboros, he could just rap some dangerous knowledge and Lumian would lose control. But as far as we see people have to actively inquire before they are privy to such knowledge.
      I'd guess this too is a manifestation of the barrier and seal.
