    I know its just main character plot armor. But thank The Fool that Lumi happened to slide into the ONE boon pathway that seems somewhat sane and normal lol.
    Itll be interesting to see if we discover more and then how out of pocket they are too.

    I mean I know they all come from the same God technically but the prisoner pathway ,criminal pathway and scrooge boon pathway all are based on desires but it's really interesting how it is portrayed and controlled if it makes sense

    Quite long duration channeling, a far cry of what Klein usually get. But this could be explained by the fact that boon wielder is not a beyonder. They died as an ordinary human. I cant remember Klein channeling an ordinary human. But why does nothing happen when they saw the altar? I expect something exploding...

    I find this spirit channeling really long, c'mon even above the grey fog Klein barely could ask a few questions, and that was spirit channeling beyonders preserved by a shepherd sealed artifact. And when doing so through ritual he even had the help of Evernight Goddess sugar mommy. Here Franca is using herself, how could be so potent?

      Because Franca is using a method devised by the collective baboon society, using the strengths of numerous pathways. Also, it’s been 6-8 years since Klein went to sleep. The astral seal is weakening and beyonder / mystical powers are becoming stronger and closer to the material plane. That’s probably relevant too.

        The second half of your answer sound logical to me. The first not so much, after all Klein learned from his oficial beyonder friends that work for the Church that exist minimum since the third or forth epoch, the baboons have just a few years in this world that mind you it's different to any other they may have known in fantasy of their world

      I couldnt remember he channel a spirit of an ordinary person, but I think if he ever did, the length would be similar. The only problem was he either channel a higher seq beyonder, severely corrupted body and mind, or straight for the explosion of corruption, and not a boon wielder. Thats the only thing I could summarize. I'm more surprised nothing happen when they saw the altar through this channeling.

      True, but to be fair the spirit chanelling Klein does is not the same with what Franca does...it should be weaker...

      Huh I guess they just talk really fast? The narration did say that Rentas' face is getting paler, so maybe they're squeezing every single drop of spirituality remaining within Rentas.

    Hmm, didn’t the Oldest One create everything a long long time ago, and split into beyonder characteristics long before the 21st century of the Pre-Epoch? This means the word Scrooge and the idea of Cupid long predate the writing of Greek mythology and A Christmas Carol?

          Nah the seven lights above the spirit world had mentioned it in book one I believe. Back when Klein had become a sequence 2. I’m a first time reader and even I knew that, unless i unknowingly spoiled myself but I’m PRETTY sure it was mentioned in book 1
