    don't know if it's caused by my low intelligence, the classic Cuttlefish's ending, or Aurore's death, i can't really immersed myself into the plot. any of these are utterly irrelevant when Aurore is dead. just like another reader said, killing the fml at the start of the story then make the MC dedicate his whole life pursuing revival is the oldest Wuxia/Xianxia plot, not only it is cliché and overused but also pedestrian

    i read somewhere that the story picked up after volume 1 ends, so here goes nothing

    i wonder if there'd be anyone still saying Klein's difficulties were harder than going against Outer God, the lost of Captain Dunn was harder than Lumian's of Aurore, and how easy the latter's life is getting all those mysticism information for free.. after all these

      LOTM and COI are distinct and unique, I have never read or found a book like Lotm

        very true, even if the translations sometimes feel either overcomplicated or oversimplified, you can definitely tell that Cuttlefish has some great ideas when writing and keeps tabs on the majority of them
