      I don't understand,what is he supposed to do after hiding behind her? The enemy will be at the other side and Aurore will be casting spells at him,he won't be able to do anything without Going in front of aurore. Do you expect him to just stay behind cross-legged and start cheering as aurore is fighting or expect her to start boxing with her enemy?

      At the same time,Aurore is so much more powerful and experienced than him that even if he has considered her betraying him,he wouldn't even be able to do anything against 2 seq 7s so being wary of such scenario is absolutely meaningless
