Ooh I am liking it where this is going. Zhou Mingrui when transmigtated to this world as Klein, had the sefirot and very very dormant LOTM will within him, which was so dormant that it couldn't be considered as corruption.
Lumien, on the other hand, is different. He got CoI corruption at twelfth night when he was supposed to be CoI's vessel.
In comparison, Lumien has it way more tougher than Klein, because unlike LOTM which was very dormant within Klein and so very dead, CoI is very active and planning his descent via a mass sacrifice and a vessel. It would be interesting to see how Lumian will overpower CoI (with Klein's help) and become next CoI or some other above sequence existence while constantly battling CoI corruption.
In conclusion, I am very hyped with this development.

Well, Klein's threat only became apparent in the later half of the Book, and Lumian is greatly assisted by Klein. Also, although the Circle of Inevitability seems formidable, he is no Celestial Worthy... Think about it, who is the scariest and most dreadful character in the novel yet? Is it Amon? No, Amon was defeated... The scariest one was the Ancient Sun God, who had a whole Epoch designed after him, and although Adam is kind of ASG himself, he isn't quite it as well, not without Sasrir. And what led to ASG's downfall? It was of course God Almighty's awakening...

So, in conclusion, people are greatly underestimating how big of a problem CW is to Klein rn. After all, ASG had to split himself into Sasrir, create the whole Rose Redemption, and still die to Evernight's scheme, create a failsafe in the name of Adam, restart again, and wait for 2 WHOLE MORE EPOCH all in order to suppress GA... Sure, the CW's corruption is significantly lower with the barrier-breaking, Klein won't have it as easy as taking a small nap and waking up as people believe it to be. You can expect a whole volume, maybe war, and multiple Gods attempting to help him (or stop him)

Very concise and precise analysis, but I believe these threats became relevant when Klein reached sequence 4.

I am not saying Klein had it easy, all I am saying is Lumian had it way rougher beginning than Klein, even having help from Klein in the form of corruption seal pales in comparison of having a sefirot while having a very heavy corruption from an outer deity, constant threat of losing control and constant ungodly pain while performing cogitation Or promotion in beyonder power.

“maybe war, and multiple Gods attempting to help him” I think it should have something to do with In Modern Day story at the end of first book rather than war, I think the good part of some volume would be on how Lumian and group that he is with trying to disrupt a dream that CW created, so that Klein awoke.

Without Evernight's help in getting rid of the curtain, Klein would have to face Celestial Worthy's Will instantly after waking up.

Similarly, Without Klein's help, Lumian had to face COI at the ritual site.

Lumian had to face COI, a ATS outer God while Klein had to face Celestial Worthy who's also one of the personalities of the Original Creator (ofcourse, this significance is shown at the later end of the novel).

Sure, Lumian had it tough at the start of the novel but he had constant direct help from the Tarot Club, But Klein had to do everything from the ground up even if he had the sefirah castle. And then he had to face this terrifying world with little knowledge as a modern person.

What I'm trying to say is, Each had their strength and weaknesses. Different Aims, Different Personalities. So, It's meaningless to compare two indomitable characters who's facing the world themselves. One for He and His sister and Another for His Family and all of Humanity. So, In my Opinion, Both are Great.

With Valentine’s fanaticism and piety, he was confident he could persuade him to commit suicide.

I remember the official description of Hunter pathway:

lemme guess again. its not that Pualis don't want to help them, but there could only be 1 vessel for the inevitability, and that specific point in time requires one to assume the post. the reason why she implied that there is no more space for Lumian and Aurore is to manipulate them into thinking that there's still a chance to reverse the corruption, but the truth is only 1 person could escape the loop, and those qualified to leave are only those ones with the thorny symbol(pualis, lumian, padre guillaume, etc.) The padre also knows and is aware of the past loops, only feigning ignorance and waiting for the lent because the ending of lent festival is signifies the start of that specific point in time. Or the padre's true body already managed to escape the loop in the past loop where they succeeded and Lumian was killed, and the only they're dealing with was a blueprint of padre in the past loops.

There is no passage in the last 6 chapters which im aware of clearly said why Pualis couldn't help them. She simply went along with Lumian's own conjecture. My point still stands for why Pualis misdirect their line of thoughts. It could have nothing to do with her ability to leave the loop at anytime, but she could not afford to cause a mass panic by telling others of the secret that only she, lumian and padre could leave and potentially sabotage her own means of escape. that's why she never held them accountable when they infiltrated, she could not allow any further chaos when the twelvth night is approaching

“Is that why Madame Pualis claimed she could leave the loop at a specific moment?

“She wasn’t tainted by that power. She’s not part of the loop. She’s affected, but she can exploit loopholes or seize opportunities to escape?”

Aurore sighed softly. “That’s why she said she can’t save us or take us with her. We’ve already been corrupted and are fused with the loop.”

          Can you see now?
Or you're still not aware of it?
