        Sequence names of COI weren't mentioned in Book 1. As for Fors it was speculated from the little bits of information we gained such as her hair colour, eye colour, her travelling power, her presenting tarot cards, etc.. all these stuffs.

        That's where he got the names of Sequence 9 & 8 of COI Pathway.

      I don't know how accurate what I'm saying is, but I'm pretty in the earlier chapters it was said that the Padre was granted Seq 4 beyonder powers of the dancer pathway by the Circle of Inevitability. And then they were referred to as a 'Circle Inhabitant', so I think that Circle Inhabitant is the supposed seq 4 of the dancer pathway. The timeloop power also fits with the sequence name.

        Technically it shouldn't be possible to have powers of a different pathway than what you start out with unless you "switch" to a corresponding pathway as you will fall to madness otherwise. I think Cuttlefish is doing a trick here by using a loophole of not "switching" pathways but simply receiving additional beyonder characteristics. It could imply that the beyonder characteristics from Cosmos are neutral with all beyonder characteristics corresponded to 22 divine pathways and therefore are additive.

          Although your notion of having powers of a different pathway is true to an extent, it's also partially incorrect since sealed artifacts and a deity's bestowment of their power exist as well.

          It was stated that Lumian was going to basically get the power bestowment of a hidden existence (boon) of a dancer (sequence 9) from the hidden existence, not the corresponding beyonder characteristic, and even if it were that, the abilities that you would be able to use from it would have very limited affects.

          The reason this is possible is due to a previous conversation between the enigmatic lady (Fors) and Lumian that highlighted that fact that even if someone is a beyonder of a differing pathway, a bestowment from an entity of another pathway will have initial conflict with the receiver's body but not to the degree of losing control.

          As for the beyonder characteristics from the cosmos being neutral with the familiar 22 pathways of divine, I highly doubt it since there would be a clash between the different beyonder pathways or specifically their traits and powers, leading to a loss of control.
          If you don't believe me, I just applied the laws of beyonder characteristics and the clashing of them to this situation.

            It's explained in future chapters as well. Basically, thanks to Klein, Lumian besides being gifted the boons after praying to Circle of Inevitability, he can also digest them similarly to potions, erasing CoI's (the spoiler is big)
            will and influence in them.
