Wait I'm confused ! If Beyonders (or monsters) die, don't they lose their characteristics even when the time loop reset ? Or was it just the case in that Dream because Lumian was the one who took it?

It is only the case in the Dream. I will try to explain as best as I can.

Here's the thing: the time loop takes place not only within Cordu and its surrounding areas but also within the "Dreamscape." If time has reset in Cordu, time has reset in the "Dreamscape." Now that Lumian has discovered his specialness within the "Dreamscape," however, he is able to retain his memories across various loops and is also able to retain what he has "consumed." In simple terms, as you have read, time has also turned back in the "Dreamscape," but that shotgun monster no longer had the Beyonder Characteristic. Why? Because Lumian had "consumed" it in the previous loop, within which he had discovered his specialness. In other words, if Lumian hadn't discovered his specialness, he wouldn't have retained that shotgun monster's Beyonder Characteristics.

So! It was only the case in the "Dreamscape" because Lumian was the one who took it. wiseacre

Something is proactively stopping them or anyone from the village to leave. They died mid air, just like that, shit is getting creepier every passing chapter. Author is all serious mode from the get go. Now getting out of the village without solving the mystery is out of the question.
