        Already explained in book1 and a few chapters back, Demigod pertains to s4-1, 4&3=Saints, 2&1=Angels.. so Saints and Angels are both considered Demigods

    Circle of Inevitability is the one who did this? I mean it has circle and one of the outer gods...oof maybe it's related to the Red Priest path/Medici cause Fors is investigating him with Xio and Audrey and found a clue here

      Yes I thought so too, one of the villagers (likely the pader) prayed to the Circle of Inevitability and they're in this situation, the name of the Circle of Inevitability or something was mentioned in Lotm, of being a existence from the cosmos, so this situation fits perfectly.

    According to the story so far; Padrè has been vying for supernatural powers just like the MC, but the church hasn't bestowed any Beyonder powers (potion) on him, so maybe he got enticed by one of these Outer Deities and prayed to this existence and finally got what he wanted.

    My question is; What is Acuses doing about this invasion on his "turf....?"

    On second thought, the name of the novel is the circle of the inevitable and which in turn is the name of an external deity, surely this loop is the influence of that deity, taking into account that we do not know the governing authorities. the symbols that appear on the MC's body and that also appeared on the padre body may be the restraints of the place giving the effect that they cannot leave the area. kiaa

    So in summary, someone got powers from higher entity and in the process, f#cked up the whole village and pushed them to endless loop.

    But given the complex story this author writes, it is not gonna be as simple as leaving the village. MC got to eliminate the root cause of this loop, and doing so, might lose something precious to him. It would be interesting to see who is the ringleader of this fiasco, my money is on Madame Pualis.
