    Chapter 261

There were still two months until the World Summoner All-Star Championship.

During that time, Su Hao intended to gather every piece of useful information he could about the tournament. He wanted to know the current situation of previous champions, the identities of the distinguished guests invited by the organizers, the tournament format, how to gain access to the highest-level viewing areas, and, most importantly, how to come into contact with the people who truly mattered.

Everything had to be planned in advance.

He wasn't entering the competition for fame alone. He intended to use the tournament as a stepping stone to reach the world's highest circles. If he failed to prepare thoroughly beforehand, even winning the championship might not help him achieve his real objective.

Meanwhile, Yashan had almost no interest in the tournament.

Whenever he had free time, he went to the internet café to play games.

Of course, gaming was only a way for him to relax and become familiar with the world's technology. His true focus had never changed.

He still wanted to destroy the Summoned Beast Resistance Association.

Ever since Su Hao had assigned him that "homework," Yashan had approached it with complete seriousness. Rather than blindly thinking about killing enemies, he had begun learning to dismantle a massive objective into smaller, manageable problems.

    The ultimate goal was simple:

Destroy the Summoned Beast Resistance Association.

He first divided it into three major objectives.

The first was to physically eliminate the members of the organization.

The second was to destroy everything the organization sought to obtain.

The third was to destroy the foundation that allowed the organization to continue existing.

He then continued breaking down the first objective.

How could the members themselves be eliminated?

After days of thinking, he came up with three approaches.

First, establish a worldwide anti-trafficking organization dedicated to hunting down members of the Resistance Association involved in child abductions.

Second, publicly execute captured traffickers using the harshest methods possible, then spread recordings of those executions online to intimidate the organization and weaken its morale.

Third, disguise themselves as members of the Resistance Association, commit crimes under their name, provoke powerful noble families, and redirect those families' anger toward the Resistance Association.

From there, each objective was divided again and again.

Every problem became several smaller problems.

Every smaller problem became a series of practical tasks.

Eventually, the entire plan became an enormous branching diagram that covered several large sheets of paper.

When Yashan proudly handed the completed plan to Su Hao, even Su Hao was surprised.

He carefully read through every branch, corrected several flaws, added a few suggestions, and finally nodded with satisfaction.

"Not bad, Jingyi. Becoming a Prophet really has sharpened your thinking. Calling you a genius now almost feels like an understatement."

Receiving praise from Boss Wei made Yashan grin from ear to ear.

"It's all because of your teaching, Boss Jingzhong! Then... does that mean my plan will work?"

    Su Hao smiled.

"It won't just work—it has a very high chance of succeeding."

"If you carry this out properly, you won't need to search for the Resistance Association."

"They'll come looking for you on their own."

    Yashan burst into laughter.

"Hahaha! Just as expected of Boss Jingzhong!"

After laughing for a while, Su Hao's expression became serious.

    "But remember one thing."

"If you encounter ordinary members, do whatever you think is appropriate."

"But if you run into core members..."

    "Don't kill them."

"Capture them alive and bring them back."

"I have ways to trace them back to their headquarters."

    Yashan nodded immediately.

    "Understood!"

After thinking for a moment, Su Hao continued, "Your combat strength is already more than enough, but cities are enormous. Simply searching for traffickers one street at a time isn't efficient."

"So I'm going to upgrade your Steel Armor King."

"We'll add a new function—a Suspicious Trafficker Detection Program."

    Yashan blinked.

    "Install a program?"

    "Like downloading a game?"

    Su Hao chuckled.

    "Something like that."

"First, I'll implant the Life Detection genetic sequence."

"Then you'll train that ability until it can distinguish suspicious biological responses."

"The more data you accumulate, the more accurate your judgment will become."

    Yashan scratched his head.

"But traffickers look exactly like ordinary people."

"How can I tell them apart?"

    Su Hao explained patiently.

"Life Detection isn't looking at appearance."

    "It observes biological activity."

"You'll train it to distinguish the differences between adults and children."

"It can also tell the difference between natural sleep and unconsciousness."

"From everything I've observed, Resistance Association members usually drug kidnapped children so they won't make any noise."

"If you can detect unconscious children during nighttime patrols, your search efficiency will increase dramatically."

    Yashan's eyes immediately lit up.

    "That's brilliant!"

"Boss Jingzhong, let's install it now!"

"What do I need to do?"

"You don't need to do anything," Su Hao replied with a smile. "Just lie down."

"I'll give you a few injections."

"It'll probably take several stages of treatment, but there shouldn't be any major problems."

Yashan immediately lay down without hesitation.

    "No problem, Boss Jingzhong!"

From then on, both of them became completely immersed in their respective work.

When someone truly has a goal, their initiative could become astonishing.

Su Hao devoted himself to investigating the Summoned Beast Custodial Bureau.

He searched through countless online archives, collected fragmented reports, traced the backgrounds of senior executives, mapped the relationships between the Ten Ancient Families, and preserved every seemingly insignificant clue. Even information that appeared useless at first glance might become the missing piece of a puzzle later.

Naturally, he wasn't relying solely on existing knowledge.

    His own research never stopped.

Using nearly a thousand basic runes, he began constructing what he called a Rune Summoning Array.

If the project succeeded, summoning beasts might no longer require an innate summoner's talent.

Anyone who understood the runic principles could potentially perform summoning.

At the same time, his research into spatial commonality continued.

After countless calculations and experiments, he became increasingly convinced that the secret behind short-range teleportation lay in the shared spatial characteristics between two locations.

The remaining questions were straightforward in theory but extraordinarily difficult in practice.

Which shared characteristics were truly essential?

And how could those characteristics be artificially created?

Finding those answers would require an enormous number of experiments...

    ...and perhaps a little luck.

Without that stroke of luck, someone could spend an entire lifetime searching without ever discovering the truth.

Besides his own research, Su Hao also continued improving Yashan.

He designed a Life Detection genetic sequence specifically for him and began conducting implantation experiments.

    This wasn't without risk.

In previous lives, Su Hao had attempted similar cross-sequence integrations many times.

The success rate had never been particularly high.

If this experiment succeeded, however, it would prove that members of the Shell People evolutionary sequence could also possess specialized abilities belonging to entirely different evolutionary paths.

    Yashan was just as busy.

He buried himself in books on photography, video editing, programming, and cybersecurity.

Books like Photography from Beginner to Master.

    Programming from Beginner to Master.

    Network Security Essentials.

At the same time, he enthusiastically read titles such as Top Ten Torture Methods, One Thousand Physical Punishments, and Secrets of Brutal Interrogation.

For him, everything began from zero.

Although the Prophet sequence gave him extraordinary intelligence, he still lacked basic knowledge.

Whenever he encountered something he couldn't understand, he immediately sought Su Hao's guidance.

Eventually, Su Hao simply hired private tutors to teach him photography and programming.

    As for why photography?

    Yashan had his own logic.

"If I'm going to make anti-trafficking videos..."

"They should look as cool as blockbuster action movies."

    The results were surprisingly good.

Before long, Yashan had bought a professional camera, filmed material everywhere he went, learned editing software with remarkable speed, and found genuine enjoyment in the process.

His greatest progress, however, came in cybersecurity.

Under the guidance of his instructor, he successfully hacked several small websites.

A completely new world opened before him.

Gradually, an idea began taking shape in his mind.

He would create an online organization dedicated to hunting traffickers.

Its members would never meet each other in person.

    Everyone would use aliases.

They would exchange intelligence, publish bounty missions, share information, and cooperate remotely.

By combining the strength of many people, they could gather information on the Resistance Association far more efficiently than any individual ever could.

Yashan fully understood one thing now.

Trying to destroy the Resistance Association through brute force alone was almost impossible.

Boss Wei had once told him:

"Anger and impulse solve very few problems."

    "Knowledge does."

    "Acquire enough knowledge..."

    "...and you'll become unstoppable."

    Yashan firmly believed those words.

As the days quietly passed, the two continued studying, researching, experimenting, and steadily advancing toward their own goals.

Before they realized it, summer vacation arrived.

For ordinary children, it was the happiest time of the year.

    For Su Hao...

It meant the World Summoner All-Star Championship was finally about to begin.
