    Chapter 220

After establishing the connection with Yashan through the Small Black Room, Su Hao no longer paid much attention to the captured Transcendents.

    The reason was simple.

If they completed their tasks, everything would proceed according to plan.

If they failed, then after a month the inhibitor protein inside their bodies would once again suppress their extraordinary genes, stripping them of their powers.

Either way, the outcome would not change.

With those matters settled, Su Hao once again buried himself inside the laboratory.

Every day, he repeatedly recorded the consciousness of small round mice into the Marble Space, erased it, recorded it again, erased it again, continuously trying one experiment after another.

Gradually, he reached the point where he could completely take control of a small round mouse's body.

The principle behind it was not complicated.

He simply replaced the mouse's own brainwave signals with specially prepared brainwave patterns. As long as the transmitted signals were powerful enough to suppress the mouse's original thoughts, the body would instinctively obey the new commands.

The success of the experiment allowed Su Hao to gain a much clearer understanding of the Marble Space.

It could freely record and erase consciousness.

It completely ignored the concept of distance. As long as a living being's consciousness had been recorded, Su Hao could observe everything that being saw and heard regardless of where it was. Even if he were to travel to another world in the future, he should theoretically still be able to observe both worlds simultaneously.

He could also directly transmit information into the consciousness of anyone whose record existed within the Marble Space.

With sufficient preparation, he could even temporarily seize control of another creature's body by replacing its thoughts with his own commands.

The countless interconnected Small Black Rooms could even be expanded into an enormous virtual city where imprisoned consciousnesses could exist. Although, for now, Su Hao had no practical use for such a function.

Finally, he confirmed once again that consciousness itself continued growing through the acquisition of useful knowledge and the continual construction of new logical rules.

    Unfortunately...

Its growth was still ultimately limited by the physical body.

Looking quietly at the conclusions he had organized, Su Hao leaned back in his chair inside the Marble Space.

    A notebook appeared before him.

A pen naturally formed between his fingers.

After thinking for a long time, he slowly began writing.

    "My goal has never changed."

"I want to continuously acquire more knowledge."

"I want to uncover the mysteries of the universe."

"I want to survive long enough to witness countless different worlds..."

"...until eternity, or until the universe itself reaches its end."

After writing that sentence, he remained silent for quite some time before continuing.

"The worlds I enter are not chosen by me."

"The Marble Space decides where I arrive."

"Therefore, every time I enter a new world, I must obtain as much of that world's core knowledge as possible."

    "And to continue learning..."

    "...I first need enough time."

    His pen paused once more.

"Every reincarnation seems to contain unavoidable dangers."

"The first generally appears between the ages of three and six."

"The second usually comes between fifteen and eighteen."

    "There may be more later."

"Although my strength has reduced these dangers considerably..."

    "They have never truly disappeared."

"So the first priority of every reincarnation..."

    "...is survival."

"Only by surviving can I continue learning."

After organizing these thoughts, Su Hao turned to a fresh page.

    "The first priority remains unchanged."

"I must continue improving the Small Black Room until it becomes absolutely impregnable."

"As long as the Marble Space remains mine, I still possess endless opportunities."

    "If I ever lose it..."

    "Everything ends."

    He continued writing.

"I must continue strengthening both my body and my consciousness."

"What I truly seek is a perfect body."

"A body capable of endlessly increasing both physical and mental limits."

"For now, there is no obvious way to dramatically increase my learning speed."

    "But..."

"The concept of the Eye of the World deserves further exploration."

    He wrote another line.

"I should cultivate one or two long-term assistants."

    "They can perform dangerous experiments..."

    "Explore unknown phenomena..."

"And bear risks that I would rather avoid personally."

Finally, he slowly wrote one last objective.

"I must find a method to leave behind the coordinates of every world I visit."

    "When I leave this world..."

"I want to know what becomes of it."

    "Perhaps..."

    "One day..."

"I'll even discover a way to return."

    "Nothing is impossible."

After reading through everything once more, Su Hao quietly closed the notebook.

His future direction had become much clearer.

    ---

Two years passed in the blink of an eye.

Su Hao was now thirty-three years old.

During those two years, he had accomplished three important things.

The first was continuing to perfect the Small Black Room.

The permission system had become so complete that Su Hao personally tried every method he could imagine to escape from it.

    Every attempt ended in failure.

    Even so, he remained unsatisfied.

The Small Black Room only appeared invulnerable according to his current understanding.

Someone possessing knowledge beyond his own might someday discover a flaw.

    Until that possibility completely disappeared...

    He would continue improving it.

The second achievement was the successful implementation of the Eye of the World.

    The method was surprisingly simple.

Su Hao recorded the consciousness of Yashan's eldest son, Heli, inside the Marble Space.

From that moment onward, Heli became the first Eye of the World.

When Heli's own child reached the age of one, the Small Black Room would automatically transmit instructions to Heli, telling him to circulate Vitality throughout the child's brain.

Once that process was complete, the child's consciousness would automatically be recorded into the Marble Space.

After Heli eventually died, his consciousness record would be erased, leaving only his descendant's.

    Generation after generation...

    The inheritance could continue indefinitely.

    Su Hao named this ceremony—

    Genesis God's Wisdom Inheritance.

As for how many generations this inheritance could truly last...

Even Su Hao did not know.

To minimize unnecessary risks, he chose to record only Heli's bloodline.

The third achievement concerned the Perfect Body.

Over the past two years, Su Hao had devoted almost all of his efforts to integrating the eight extraordinary pathways.

His greatest focus remained the legendary Sequence Eight—God.

After countless simulations carried out by Little Light, the success rate for evolving into God had finally reached...

    Ninety-nine point nine percent.

    Failure had become almost impossible.

Leaving the Marble Space, Su Hao stretched lazily.

Looking toward the sky outside the laboratory, he murmured,

"I wonder whether becoming a God will finally allow me to break through the limits of both body and consciousness."

"The body's limits should theoretically be surpassed..."

    "But whether consciousness can..."

    "...I'm still not certain."

In truth, he could have attempted the evolution long ago.

    He simply hadn't dared.

Throughout the countless generations of the Zhu Huo people, many Sequence Seven Transcendents had appeared.

Yet not one had successfully evolved into the legendary Sequence Eight—God.

    There was no precedent.

    No experience.

    No guidance.

After pondering for a long while, Su Hao slowly shook his head.

    "No hurry."

"I should first finish exploring every corner of this world."

    "Perhaps..."

"I'll discover something unexpected related to God."

With that thought, he transmitted a message to Yashan through the Small Black Room.

    "Yashan."

    "I'm leaving on a journey."

    "I don't know when I'll return."

    "If you ever need me..."

"Just shout, 'Call for Boss Wei.'"

    "I'll hear it."

    ---

At that moment, Yashan was inspecting one of the eight Super Beast Zones.

    He suddenly stopped walking.

Without showing the slightest surprise, he replied in his heart,

    "Understood, Boss Wei."

The people accompanying him exchanged puzzled glances.

They had clearly seen Yashan stop and answer someone.

Yet they had heard no voice.

Only Meng Chuan appeared completely unsurprised.

    Instead, admiration filled his eyes.

    As expected...

Boss Wei, the Genesis God, truly was omnipotent.

Then he continued writing: “Fourth, try to find a way to leave the coordinates of the world; after leaving this world, I actually want to know how this world will develop in the future! Maybe I can find a way back in the future!

The thing with this is that, with each transmigration millions of years end up passing leaving two possibilities for the world. Either the world dies, or the civilization is extremely advanced and most likely won't really remember some guy who helped change the entire world a few million years ago.
