World building is pretty limited and immature. Looks like sone kind of simulation:
You want to do something better than others?
Well, then the only way is to get a card.
Ok, I got a card, how do I improve myself next?
The only way to get better is to link with a dragon.
Ok, fine, I get it. We link with dragons, fight with scourgelings. Is there any other magical race around?
No - there are 3 'chosen' races:
Humans - use cards, link with dragons
Dragons - magical by nature, create cards when born.
Scourgelings - eat life and cards, create cards when eat enough.
Other creatures have no abilities at all, they can't do anything with cards because they just aren't made for it....
Not to mention old kings that went crazy from age, and noone seemingly caring about it even after 2/7 kingdoms were destroyed, giving only MC the chance to save the world on the verge of destruction.
Would be pretty good enough for 12 year olds, but the events happening in the book make it 16+.

I am truely enjoying this book. The world building is truely unique, not the same cookie cutter stuff that I find all the time.

#panic# os dois ultimos capitulos estão errados

I read this to chapter 39 out of 65 current chapters. The world itself is pretty neat. Cards have infinite potential but they can also downright suck even at higher ranks. The biggest issue for me is that the main character is a dumb 12 year old who makes mistakes almost every chapter. I understand that young kids are not expert decision makers but reading about a kid screwing up and seeking trouble over and over isn't fun.

I recommend waiting for it to get more chapters then kinda speeding over the chapters involving his youth and seeing if he gets any smarter when he grows up.

Главный герой ребёнок и мало что знает, и при этом ведёт себя соответствующе. Это нормально, но он довольно глупый, и часто даже не пытается просчитывать свои действия, хотя бы на один два шага вперёд. Что ещё хуже, он слишком защищён автором.
