    I have another absurd and unlikely but possible theory.

    What if it's always been the enders trying to reach Zhou Ming from within subspace?
    I already suspected an ender to be the one that was knocking at his appartment door.

    Now what if the barrier of fog isn't just a physical barrier but also a temporal one suspending the snctuary in time in the apocalypse. Then it'd be possible it's this ender from beyond the fog and end of time.

      My biggest question is of how the cocoon survived the end of all things. We know Zhou Ming comes from a people who were masters of space and time. But from what we know the Great Annihilation defy’s all logic and physics. How could it not breach or find the cocoon?

    I think the person that Vanna & Morris has seen on Holy land of Annihilation cult is none other than this Crete or accurately I think it's his shadow from distant time when Sanctuary was about to come at its end
