This is a fairly fun read and the characters are great.

How the novel handles romancing multiple women is a bit strange but not bad. Each chapter/s is dedicated to an individual and it's like the transition between going after a different heroine is cut away so it can feel abrupt when it swaps back and forth.

I think this is what gives the novel a unique feel as it doesn't give you time to forget the other girls.

Also the Empress Dowager is hilariously great.

Like, I want to like it? But something feels off about the book. Like it feels like there should be important info that was forgotten in th earlier chapters. Plus so far the mc I like? Him, but he’s way too cowardly toward chuchu which is understandable but I dunno, something about the book feels weird

Saw the rating of 2.9 thought couldn't be that bad, oh boy was it bad. 2 chapters in and i am confused af, idk if part of the chapter is Missing or its bad translation or straight up bad writing or i am just reading it wrong but i can't go past it.
