    It feels somewhat stupid to spend all those amounts on some random overpriced stuff like that. I mean: yeah, if one is lusting after money just so that they'd spend those on that sh*t then it means they'd most likely continue to stay in that business and wouldn't ever be satisfied (there's other logic too, of course, but still).
    So those around them would pay attention to those and make deals with such people while thinking not much about their potential threat. As one'd better invest money in business to increase influence. While influence can maybe even take over businesses of others (or protect one's own better). Instead of obtaining some personal "luxury" sh*t.
    I mean, the price tags may go for so much overpriced, but people still go for them. And should one really care whether there's diamonds inside or something else if those still give off a good aestetic feeling?

    Though MC as that sort of high-end offspring (who has more stability) can sort of indulge in all that just so that the others get the motivation...
