      Are you really understanding the meaning of a flaw? A flaw doesn't change. Mordret's flaw didn't change either. He is still fragmented, which is clearly isn't true. And that's the contradiction.

      Also, I have no problem with Kai's flaw. He can't control it and couldn't prevent it, and that's not the case with Mordret.

      Scars and emotional damage isnt Flaw. It is what caused by flaw.

      And he clearly can go away from all ts. There are two insanely powerfull psychotherapists nearby who can change his whole character or reduce him to some chill guy with amnesia.

    The people saying that I am belittling his (Mordret's) trauma. I'm not. I'm just saying that it can't be a flaw. That's because what caused him that trauma was not the spill, and it was not his awakening. It was caused by himself and the people around him and could be prevented. A flaw can never be prevented. Every supreme has trauma as well. I mean look at Cassie. The knowledge she has is most likely more traumatic. And that's not her flaw.

        If you just want to be more at ease, you could consider the replacement of the previous flaw with something like “You can die”. If we really compare his past and present that’s the main new flaw.

        It’s a bigger debuff than being fragmented maybe, it depends on how you think about the problem.

      His different fragments were never going to behave normally, they've each lived a full life from childhood to adulthood. And the flaw is not just "you have trauma", it's the segmented mind. Likely similar to multiple personality disorder or something else. Also remember that flaws are still deeply personal to each person, Kai's flaw is literally to know when people are lying, but it's been established that Kai doesn't enjoy having it at all. I think it's totally expected.

      This all you had to tell me, yet your jackass had to be roundabout. Sorry, the insult was a habit.
      I've been thinking his Flaw is a permanent fracture of his soul now- like Jet's leaking essence- but in Mordret's case something that can never be healed?

      A permanent wound doesn't seem like a flaw, especially in his case, where his essence doesn't constantly leak out, but Mordret was originally meant to be 7 beings(my understanding) who can combine together like Sunny's Shadows, but Regretless Mordred absorbed everyone but 1

      I believe, had he been able to absorb that 1 from the start, his soul would resemble the current Mordret rn. Also the reason he doesn't combine with his Death is pretty obvious, and why I believe he can even combine with them at all; is what he did while attempting to Ascend to a Spirit

      His Flaw, more likely than not, is an eternal wound people like Soul Reaper Jet, Sunless or anyone well versed to ignoring the physical to attack the metaphysical- is his weakness. And understanding there's no coming back once his Soul is Destroyed?

      The benefit of originally being a seperate being no longer applies. Right now, he truly has just one shot at all this.

      That was a yap. Since you acknowledged how what you said could be misconstrued- I'm also sorry. I was being a rash asshole as well- hope my understanding of his current situation matched what guiltytree had in mind

    Why do I get the feeling that this mordret might be worse than the original one.
    The original mordret was like that because of his flaw, but this one might just become a deranged psychopath.
    G3 did good by nerfing him to a single core and making him killable.

    I hope new and improved Mordret joins the cohort or at least has a proper alliance with them this time. I’m curious to see how Morgan handles the new Mordret too.

    I can’t wait to see the rest of the cohort react to Cassie’s Supremacy. I’m thinking what’s going to happen next is that Cassie purges humanities memories of Asterion at the same time that the Great Citadels are taken back, maybe Asterion takes a wound from Sin of Solace and goes into hiding if he’s not outright destroyed by Cassie and Mordret after he’s stripped of his domain.

      This feels shallow as f#ck.

      Decades of struggle, just for being able to feel remorse, the improvement of his character. Nah. If you're just saying that cause you can now beg for your life to the King of Nothing, then this isn't an improvement. Just a social chain to contractually oblige him to; "do the right thing."

      This Mordret isn't an improvement. A New Being. Not an improvement.

        This fulldret is an improvement(somewhat) since badret killed innocent people without remorse or any emotion actually, he was irredeemable sc**... that said people like you still liked him so he needed to be whitewashed.

        That was the Author's plan from the start I believe. He has insinuated that Mordret will be part of the cohorte multiple times and considering he has always said this wasn't a dark novel using goodret as the base of his character and body but with a mix of badret sounds about right.
