Nah but I really hope Sunny takes in Daeron's granddaughter as an apprentice. I wholeheartedly REFUSE the idea of Nephis taking her under her wing. There's too much connection between Sunny and the granddaughter. Sunny has always been on the receiving end of Daeron and Windflower's kindness and help so he MUST reciprocate this. He owes them this.

Yep that's a nice sentiment but what'll the empress say when she sees her grandfather in Sunnys legion, what about wildflower's precious flower? What'll sunny say when she asks "teacher, why do you have mommy's precious flower? Are you my long lost daddy?"

They're prolly gonna let Ananke sit on the bench for this one. She's way to important for both sunphis. They're gonna treat her like a fragile egg that's about to hatch. Besides 2 supreme titans with 4 sacred shades wouldn't need to risk precious Ananke

Setting: A dimly lit, newly constructed stone chapel in Bastion, The Last Temple of Weave; Smelling of frankincense and old rain.

Professor Júlios stands by a flickering candle, his worn leather notebook open. Ananke stands at the altar, her hands calloused from years of service, her eyes reflecting a peace that feels hard-won.

Professor Júlios: (Clearing his throat softly) They told me I would find the one who persevered here. You’ve seen centuries that my books can only guess at, Sovereign Priestess. How does one stay faithful to the Weaver when the tapestry he creates is so often soaked in blood?

Ananke: (Turning slowly, a small smile touching her lips) You look at the cloth from the back, Professor. You see the tangled knots, the frayed ends, the mess of the underside. I have spent my life at the feet of the loom. I don’t ask why the thread is red; I only ask for the strength to keep pulling it through.

Professor Júlios: (Frowning slightly) But history is a series of collapses. I’ve chronicled the fall of the very temples you served. If your Weaver is the one who designs the end of all things, how do you, as a woman who has lost everything, still call her "Beloved"?

Ananke: Because perseverance isn't about winning, Júlios. It’s about the refusal to be unmade. The Weaver doesn’t promise a happy story; he promises a complete one. My role as his priestess isn't to change the pattern, but to be the witness who survives to see it finished.

Professor Júlios: (Scribbling quickly) "The refusal to be unmade." That is a powerful sentiment. But even a witness gets tired. There were nights in the Great Archive when I felt the weight of all those dead voices. How do you carry the silence of the ones who didn't make it?

Ananke: I carry them in the liturgy of my breath. Every step I take is a prayer for those the Weaver cut short. You study the past to understand it, Professor. I live the past to honor it. To persevere is to be the living memory of the Weaver’s handiwork.

Professor Júlios: (Looking up from his notes, his voice softening) I’ve spent my life loving the dead through their words. You seem to love them through your endurance.

Ananke: Perhaps we are both his servants, then. You keep the record of the thread, and I keep the flame of the one who walks the line. Tell me, historian, in all your books, did you ever find a way to outlast the dark?

Professor Júlios: Only by finding someone else holding a light. Like you.
