    Hey so if I understand it right, the incarnations are a kind of advanced application of shadow manifestation right? So if that is the case why doesn't sunny use the inherent formless nature of shadows more to just shape his body into whatever he needs? For example when he was about to get stabbed by that butterfly he could reshape his chest into already having a hole in the place where the needle would stab then just kill it, going intangible might not work because of will or whatever but that hole thing is definitely plausible, because he definitely said he is already a full shadow so I also don't get why he has something like internal organs that actually mean anything if they get damaged beyond needing to use a bit of essence to reshape the organs again with shadow manifestation.

      Well the incarnations arent an application of his shadow manipulation rather they are another ability, his transcendent transformation which might be a reason he cant so freely manipulate his body comp. Besides, his mind is already reeling from madness due to the nightmare call so even if he could do this, his mental condition is really bad rn

      Is this the only thing that bothers you? I think everyone, including the author, has already forgotten the true size of the butterflies described in G3 when they first appeared. There, Sunny should be missing half his body, if not more, after he was pierced.

        yeah your right my brain instantly just assumed the butterflies were like house size while thinking back to third nm they were almost as large as the turtle island meaning one of the tendrils should be the thickness of like a semi truck's width at least

        I think G3 would do good to have assistant writers that write down details of the past arcs especially things like that to maintain continuity he can always rewrite the chaps too. Im gonna assume the Shadow Slave discord has people already raising there complaints there hopefully G3 gets some resource to help him out he's only human and once a book reaches this size.

      I think he takes damage because he's not embodying wild shadows, but his own. And creating a heart, skeleton, and so on is required to better match the original, and therefore increase power. Why doesn't he just make a hole where he hits? Skill issue

      Shadow incarnation is his Transcendant ability and yes sunny can reshape himself into whatever he wants, however when he turns into a shadow, the damage that was done to his physical form transfer to his shadow form.

        Yeah but like, I meant shaping himself into a human donut to avoid a stab for example, not taking damage and reshaping it but like shapeshifting on some looney tunes shi.

    How big is the pyramid actuall? 50 km, a few 100 or even a few thousand km? I mean the numbers sound unreasonable, buttt the moth of doubt alone is the size of a mountain and one of the butterflies is like half a km, and considering that 100 crawl out of the crack at the same time(because who else would there be millions in a few seconds), than wouldn’t that mean that the crack alone is like 50km? Just saying that I cry head can’t really work with scales like that or understand how long they would need to fly up there. I mean the biggest mountain in my continent is a bit over 5km and that is already hard to imagen

      Hmm... First of all, the physical size of a constituent block of the pyramid is massive. And there's millions of them. Then inside the pyramid, there's the Great River. It flows from the present to the past, the absolute past where even concepts like time and death and desires weren't invented. Just imagine the length of such a river. And this river is perfectly contained inside the tomb... So... The Tomb of Ariel is....very big.
