    I’m curious to see what treachery our favorite shadow will pull against Azarax and his army.

    There’s no way they make it back out of Ariel’s Hell in time to save humanity so it’s looking like Cassie is going to be the savior of humanity this time. It was already all but confirmed at the start of this volume but seeing all the pieces start to fall into place is nice. I suspect she will suddenly naturally ascend just when it looks like Mordret is defeated and all his contingencies fall through. The trigger obviously being Sunny getting his fate back and being remembered.

    Some other things: I don’t think VTB is going to be Sunny’s last shadow cohort member like some have been speculating, I believe his last shadow is reserved for Weaver’s Shadow via Shadow Weave. I want to believe that Daeron or at least remnants of his people made it inside of ToA and have lived on the actual River for countless years. While I doubt this is the case it would make a crazy plot twist to see a living branch of humanity from another realm surviving at the heart of the NM spell waiting for their supreme and elite warriors to return from a Nightmare they ultimately fell to and a way to empower Neph’s domain a bit.

          1st:-See during the third nightmare in a way sunny technically betrayed neph and the pack. One reason
          2nd:-Sunny will be bound by fate to neph he will be her slave to their relationship can no longer be a romantic one. I know they kind of liked each other even before Sunny lost his fate but, they never got into relationship because of the slave contract.
          3rd:- This plot will actually make this arc more about acceptance of his fate, trust, and choosing his own chains. This will make their relationship stronger when they get back!

            There's some other things that needs to be cleared up as well.

            1. Sunny didn't betray the cohort...they forgot him. Him reintegrating himself back with them makes it as if they're the ones that abandoned him. It's not his fault they forgot him so they actually owe him that.
            2. He's been Nephis slave with or without shadow bond. The only time he went against her was when he went solo at forgotten shore's cathedral to live alone and find weaver's mask. Even then he still kept checking up on her every opportunity he got.
            3. Yeah this point is valid. No qualms here.
            4. Which Cassie? Only the future supreme version of her has memories of sunny from forgotten shore

            Hmmm.... about the choosing his own chains, I don't think that's really a choice if there's only one chain to choose from right? What other choices are there? Can he modify shadow bond? It'll be the same choice. The ONLY choice.

            Either freedom or slavery.

            That's why I ardently voiced out my concerns regarding the plot to regain his fate. I don't believe anyone who's experienced becoming a slave would willingly choose to be enslaved again over freedom. Look at everything he gained with it, for one he finally got her to treat him as an equal partner. And he's choosing an option he could potentially loose everything to gain nothing?

        I didn't down vote you. I Never down vote anyone. It's hateful and negative. Spreads like a plague. Once you learn to hate dislike and prejudice someone that'll quickly spread like fire on everyone. Your bound to be hit back by your own hate you gave out and come back several fold. I also don't tolerate anyone unreasonably hating me. This is to end the cycle of hate. If you feel you have some hate towards me then be reasonable and tell me what that is. Because if you analyze all the possible reasons, hate comes from within. It's like love that overflows from within, you have to give some back out. Now here's the kicker...if I give out love or likes, it spreads like wildfire and comes back to me I'll probably be able to accept it willingly. But if it's the hate I throw out, will I still be grateful when the hate I gave out circles back to me after hitting everyone else? It'll probably have multiplied and be too much to take.

        The Shadow Slayer (or simply Slayer) copies beasts through her fourth ability, which allows her to transform into any beast she has encountered, seen, heard, smelled, touched, or whose flesh and blood she has tasted.

        It's like a combination of shadow dance and orphne's beast transformation.

            Weaver didn't have a flaw. The deamons and the gods had primordial powers not aspects and flaws.

            I think weaver choose to use the mask as such then weaved it as such for Sunny's flaw. So that sunny would become the weaver of lies upon wearing the mask

          Weaver of lies isn't really a flaw because it was explained gods and deamons have primordial powers - different from aspects and flaws.

          But as lore stated weaver always told lies and only spoke the truth when wearing the mask.

          Sunnys flaw clear conscience makes him tell only the truth. When reversed making him tell only lies, therefore he becomes more like the weaver of lies upon wearing weaver's mask.

          I believe weaver intended this and custom weaved it for sunny like weaver custom weaved the lineages too.

        Probably translated incorrectly. Dragon bodies means body count, in slang means the number of people had sexual relations with. This would also have a double meaning for body count, the number of people killed. Hence dragon bodies and harem. Meaning Kai would likely kill the Dragon or sleep with it.
