            It wasn't a mistake bro, they intentionally betrayed and used the Forgotten God to seal back the void hence Flaws were created. The gods creating Flaws by sealing the Forgotten God with the Void was intentional as Flaws act as a balance hence the Absolute Law of Imperfection was created. I would say it is intentional.

              It's true that they wanted to seal The Forgotten God but they didn't know what will happen after.
              So yes it was a mistake.
              They didn't plan for the deamons to appear so it was a mistake since this wasn't part of the plan.
              So the universe became flawed.
              And this happening also resulted in further corruption since the deamons, even tho it's not something they want, they are a reason for it spreading, by having ppl believing in them.

                They are gods for spell's sake, they probably knew what would happen after and continued doing so because that was the only way for the Void to be held back. I am sure they didn't wake up one random Tuesday to seal the Forgotten God. It was probably well planned and researched since a single mistake would cause the number of Gods to diminish by one and they would have been left to face the void with only six gods.
