      It's not that, it's just that most people villanize the characters so much, especially nephis. When they did the best they could. Like it was literally impossible for them to make another choice in that situation.

      well the thing was we at the time of forgotten shore arc we were kind of felt bad for sunny because he was always overlooked and ignored and overshined by nephis

      we knew all about sunny's backstory and how he felt but we didn't got a single pov for nephis the first pov of her came at chp 500 so it was easy to misjudge her...

      but now I think anyone in her state might have taken same or worse decisions...
      she was just 17 when she lost all of her family members, subjects and everthing her family build plus constant trauma of being assainated in her childhood when she left for forgotten shore she had nothing like sunny

      and we already saw his mental state... so yeah as a reader I held grudges against her and cassie but I dont hold that anymore cause I understood them kind of... they are just kids born in this hell hole.

    boyz i am currently bamboozled so if someone could explain a few
    in regards to ToA it would be very much appreciated :

    -are the corrupted member of the cohort still a thing since the time river is a loop ( mad prince , torment soul stealer etc...)

    -if mad prince is still there is he gonna be similar as last time we saw him or is he linked to the status of the members when they enter ( this would mean that sunny entering now would lead to mad prince being at least supreme )

        Except for VTB because he stole Sunny's fate, so he made out of the nightmare. The rest is like Vegas, what happens there stays there. Oh also except memories and echos they get, that also leaves the nightmare...

      If you enter the ToA it doesn't matter what year you are from, you all enter the tomb of arial at the same "time" as someone from distant future or past, you just end up further down the stream.

      So anything that happened in the real ToA was captured in the nightmare version (Even Sunny and Neph returning as sovereigns), but the mad prince and all that jazz only happened in the nightmare.

      but as the other guy said, vtb stole the spell from sunny in the nightmare to escape with it. so nightmare vtb is alive.

      We re in the arc transition, recap from other perspective is a very common thing, to remind readers the context and character's emotional state so they re more relatable.

      If u want actions, try xiaxia novel, there is no short of action because all people in the world always jelly of mc and courts death by challenging him. And MC just focus on 1 thing, getting stronger.
