      Rain is an Awakened, Asterion is a Supreme. There's simply no way Asterion could not resist it with his Will or just the difference in power in general.

      It's an interesting thought. I think in order to do that she would have to maintain the enchantment(?) consistently instead of naming him directly. He is a supreme after all and in order to dominate over his will, she would probably have to be sacred given how he's not only supported by the spell and whatever citadels deep within the dream realm, but also the fact that his ambition like neph is probably gonna enhance his will.

    Regarding protection against Asterion: what about using magical amulets and such things? At the very least, it would make it more difficult for Asterion to capture new slaves.

      Sunny isn't actually known for providing charms and something similar for his cohort, despite his claims as a master Weaver. So low chance or unless he remembers he is a Weaver outside of death battles.

      1. Cassie is still seeing the memories, so before or even during this meeting something really good could happen; I think this meeting is going to be a mess. 2. Perhaps Sunny will be revealed to everyone as a plan by the devil to discredit Nephis. 3. If Sunny were destined for this meeting, it wouldn't be a mess, it would be hell where he might lose at least one body.

    I dont know why, but i dont like nephis domain. Ki song had domain of dead. Anvil i forgot. Aster has domain of his name. Any rational creature with medicore mental defence is infected. Sunny has domain of shadows he kills. Mordret has domain of reflection/himself(dont know confirm).

    But nephis has domain of belief/longing. You should believe in nephis and also rever her, and only then you will be part of her domain. And if you dont believe and rever her, you are ejected from her domain.

    Sunny has wayy better. Just kill the thing and its yours. AND it can never(really hard) leave your domain.

      In the domain of Nephis, you don't necessarily need to believe in and revere her; you only need to have feelings inspired by her. Asterion's case is much more insidious because he only truly steals Nephis's followers when he sufficiently dominates a target's mind. He shifts the priority from Nephis to himself. Note that this is insidious, and for all intents and purposes, it seems harmless, because the person retains all of themselves, but now Asterion's word is law. They still worship Nephis, love their family, and enjoy the same things. Of course, in terms of domination, Asterion's domain is better, but with Nephis, you only need to have some feeling inspired by her, be it envy, passion, anger, or anything else. It's as if she exchanged something dominating for something all-encompassing.

      The technique, speaking of mastering Ki Song, is closer to what you can do when you become a puppeteer, except instead of spirit worms, she uses her own blood. Initially, what she had was a form of telekinesis, and it continued, but now she could control her body in a more complete way.

      Well thats kinda just the one aspect of sunny’s domain. He can incorporate the living into his domain by giving them the serpent tattoo. I dont think we have any instances of any shadow clan members becoming thralls even though they’ve heard the name of asterion many times. I wonder if being apart of sunny’s secret domain grants them a stronger mental defense to asterion, similar to how those who trust nephis domain are less likely to become enthralled by asterion. I think the fact that Sunny’s followers are smaller in number and seem to be a more tightly knit group makes them have better defense against asterion them a random person in nephis domain

        Well, this ability of Sunny/Serpent to bless people with a shadow serpent is also something we don't have a precise description of since it's not connected to the nightmare spell. If I were to give an opinion on this, it would be because soul (shadow) serpents are extremely loyal; they follow their masters even in death. So perhaps those with marks have strong loyalty (maybe their marks prevent them from changing domains).

          Core Abilities of the Mark of Shadows

          Enhanced Senses: The mark allows the host to see in absolute darkness and sense the subtle movements of nearby shadows.

          Soul Defense: Because the mark allows the Soul Serpent to access the bearer's Soul Sea, it acts as a robust defense against soul invasions or mental influence from external forces, such as the character Mordret.

          Essence Control: It aids the host in controlling their own soul essence more effectively.

          Connection to Sunny
          Direct Augmentation: The mark creates a connection that allows Sunny to personally augment his clan members with his own shadows, a feat he previously could only perform on himself or his bonded master, Nephis.

          Sensory Conduits: Members acting with the mark serve as conduits for Sunny’s Supreme Shadow Sense, effectively becoming his "eyes and ears" in the world, allowing him to perceive what they perceive.

          Notable Mark Bearers
          While Sunny's Shadow Clan consists of roughly 200 elite members, the most prominent figures explicitly bearing the Mark of Shadows are:

          Rain: Sunny's younger sister, who uses the mark to gain powers that help her hide the fact that she lacks a natural Aspect.

          Aiko: One of the initial founding members of the Shadow Clan along with Rain.
