      I think it'll be more physical than anything precisely because he's already lost his mind a couple times. Everything we love about sunny is already basically a construct. He's presents himself this way in purpose to avoid worship and strengthening the 7th god but I also think it's served as training so he may accomplish apotheosis without losing himself. The same way he's kept himself without his true name. And as a trump card, he could always "shadow himself" while in apotheosis. It'll be like how Neph has kept herself through her flaw.

    i dont really wanna hate but man its soo boring

    now overall g3 makes it good by adding lore or glaze / action/humour/ power ups

    but the thing is it lacks actual sense of action or power ups ( soo much chapter but we havent even got 1 good fight like we did for example sunny vs serpent or even sunny vs mimic if you get my point )

    we already know sunny is the strongest human already so whatever he uncovers and gets to the world its just the same and we know g3 will pull sm out from nowhere and power up neph to be his equal just cuz she wants to so there is not much of dopamine and reading joy i get when he gets somethings. i like Shadow Slave over many other novels and even lotm and ri in some aspects the thing is it lacks charactersssss there is just main cohort and mordret, rain left that are usable to story as a main

    in lotm even when klien was demigod like sunny is now there were thousands of thing for him to care about and he was just a strong small part of a world but here with just demigod power sunny is THE world. other things are small instances that are there for him to plunder or fight

    OVERALL its not as much enjoyable... world is not responsive toward the achievement he gets. and sorry if it sounds edgy or whatnot but if i am reading power fantasy where the main focus in action and dark world building if all of the sudden progression doesnt equal increase in world building and decrease in action i would be disappointed.

      Yeah, it’s the fact that all the adversaries left for Sunny to face can’t influence things that bother me, because the Corrupted ones will start swinging instantly and the two other sovereigns that might oppose Sunny and Neph are too subtle and I guess insidious that Sunny can’t even interact with one of them at all. I do appreciate that author is trying his best to have the other characters stay relevant tho, cause only Nephis needs humanities strength to maintain her strength, Sunny only needs them to maintain his sanity.
