    I suspect the 7 mordrets were experimented on by Asterion, 5 subsequently died and only 2 of them escaped.

    It could explain why one version of Mordret became a killing machine, he was tortured, mutilated, saw multiple versions of himself die etc etc. It must be an unimaginable horror !

    Who wouldn't turn off their humanity to remain alive?

    Asterion is also a freaking dreamspawn, who knows what he is actually...

        Could be but i'm inclined to believe that particular Sunny's shadow is just naturally moody lol. Not evil per se.

        Mordret on the other hand was raised since childhood by Asterion and subsequently i think became mentally ill.

      Nah, Mordret's Seven bodies follow different system than Sunny's. Sunny had one main body and his other bodies are just his shadows each connected to his seven cores while in Mordret's case his main body itself got shattered into seven after his awakening, each possessing certain charecteristic of the main one.

            Asterion cannot be Sunny's father as he would have had Heart God's Lineage when he awakened. Asterion inherited the lineage from his mother. It was explained when Cassie met Ki Song.

            Idk about Sunny and Rain but Asterion protected Nephis because it has something to do with divine lineages as she is the last inheritor of the Sun god and he also accepted Anvil's deal regarding Mordret for a similar reason probably, plus G3 already confirmed that Sunny and Rain's parents were normal/ordinary people, idk why people are still making up weird rumours.
