    Here’s some crackpot theories because I’m bored
    Weaver is still alive and waiting in the seventh nightmare because they are the forgotten god’s flaw.
    Nameless Sleeper is in reality another divine aspect wielder with an aspect related to the Daemon of Oblivion (there’s no f#cking way his flaw is a coincidence I refuse to believe fate would allow that)
    The first one is honestly decently likely in my opinion, but the second one is insane.

    Correct me if I'm wrong, but if the creator of the Nightmare Spell created it to use as a system in exchange for killing everyone and sealing the final villain until new gods are created, there are still many characters missing to make the group of 12 (gods and demons) and even if there were only the 6 "new" gods we still have to have new characters, because look: Neph = goddess of the sun // Sunny = god of shadow // Mordret = god of (I don't know what) // so there is at least 3 candidates for god and at most 9 more characters, personally I think that if the 6 in antiquity wouldn't be enough together with the demons, only six new ones wouldn't be enough either, so I think there has to be more, of course there is Elfie (Beast?), Kai (desire? dread?), Rain (storm or hope?), Jet, Morgan (war) and Cassie (or maybe Asterion as the one with the heart? // choose) ..... so all added together still gives 10, there are 2 more to go to 12 and personally I think Jet could not be included, because Jet is already dead and the position of god of death is already occupied. So I think we will have new characters introduced, maybe inhabitants of the dream world, I bet.

      Well the gods used to be perfect and because they were already gods when they created the flaws, They manifested as the daemons. So Since Sunny and all of those characters are already flawed, there wouldn't need to be enough characters for gods & daemons.

      But I am curious if their flaws will seperate as they ascend? or if that's something the gods did willingly so they wouldn't have to carry around that flaw?

      Being connected to a disere or element doesn't mean you are connected to a god or daemon

      Nephis has nothing to do with Hope, sun god is god of light, passion etc
      Those mirror creatures are independent creatures on their own they weren't made by demon of imagination
      Effie's flaw has nothing to do with daemon
      Rains aspect has nothing to do with gods

        I disagree with your point about Nephis, he is indeed linked to hope, because as we saw in his rise to sovereign, desire, which contains hope as a component, is part of his aspect as an attribute.

      Shadow Slave fans have a weird obsession with characters correlating with the gods and daemons. Like dawg maybe, just maybe, the gods and daemons are actually dead and only used as background for the story?

      Why the need for so many divine. sunny and nephis is tuff enough to face final boss when they reach divine probably. Other may play a role, but they don't have to be divine.

    Damn, I've finally caught up. It's so weird not seeing a Next button. I started Apr 18th and now it's Jun 22nd. 2 months to read 2421 chapters. Best novel I've read though.

    I'll have to wait for months for a lotta chapters to release before starting next chapter, hopefully i don't forget the story lol.

    Yeah it's not bad to introduce new characters in a story, you are right, however if it comes to the expense of neglecting most characters already introduced up to this point then it is stupid.     Am I the only one who thinks his awakened ability is crap? It has some use, but overall it's pretty bad, what's the point in slowing down time if you're going to be affected too, and it's also less effective against stronger opponents.

      I think the trick is that he can control the area of effect. I bet he could just have himself not be inside it.

      So even if a stronger enemy than him goes into the area they would be slowed down slightly, and June wouldn't need to be affected.

      Even if It has to be centered on June, If other people are outside the aoe, he can buy time to be saved. Or if someone's ability in general needs time. Even if he's disadvantaged during the effect, that's still time that he's bought for someone.

      Also pretty useful if you are outnumbered but none of those people/creatures are individually stronger?

      Hey you can't top Jest's ability in that regard - that guy had basically nothing as dormant ability, and his awakened ability only made those around him angry at him. Yet look at how that developed.

      I'd bet either even now or after ascending he'd be able to change the shape of the slow area instead of just the radius. And his ascendant ability itself in possible future could be anything, even something as strong as completely stopping time for something.
