    Possible Spoiler

Now Sunny and Nephis are off to kill the VTB , which may be one of the void beast they were talking about) the thieving bird supposed to, possibly be, a shadow or echo that future sunny left for this sunny. Gonna get interesting.

Think so too, future sunny must have used the tomb of Ariel to kill the original VTB and must have used the echo to steal present Sunny's fate

impossible... i still remember it clearly when Sunny tried to peek the soul of VTB and he saw intense corruption within it... so it is unlikely that it's a shadow or echo

By the way when it was reminded... Someone remember why Nephis is "Nephilim"? (Besides "because her name literally means it".)

Like, i know she received this attribute after the very first nightmare, but isn't it a lot for just a attribute? As far as we know from Sunny - the aspect and innate attributes are not granted by a nightmare, but proceed from the true essence (soul, spark or smth) of a creature. The Sanny's innate attribute made him predisposed to the shadows, not being shadow creature himself.

And as far as we know Nephis was born human by other humans. So why does one of her attribute give a whole other race (while still being a human)?

Oh completely forgot about that. But still something does not converge in my head. Chapter before we were clearly told that the "Nepifilim" are creature born from "divine and profane" -> Gods and Void Beings.

Nephis being born from a hollow don't make her a "Nephilim", only "Dreamspawn" because it was in dream realm. Her initial attributes: [Fire] and [Spark of Divinity] based on her possess Sun God's lineage, [Dreamspawn] based on born in dream realm, but this [Nephilim] attribute... What is it based on?

        #offtop
And when you reminded me this "Dreamspawn" thing, I remembered that's Mordret is in a similar situation as a Nephis - who also after the first nightmare received, if not have a whole race, but very similar abilities to another races - "Others" (or "Nothing-race from the fog").

(Also this whole "Dreamspawn" route has not even started normally because we still not met Asterion... G3 make it happen already.)

Could weaver’s legacy have some sort of legacy effect? Although Broken sword supposedly gained a part of weaver’s legacy after Nephis was born- maybe seeing as though due to broken sword’s rank or will being so strong the world deems it enough power to mark generations. Especially since nephis does “worship” her father through his swordsmanship. If that’s the case- the nephilim attribute could have been created within nephis after her birth due to her pure mother and broken father who gained profane power. If that’s the case then maybe nephis is a key to a lost portion of weaver’s power- therefore sunny’s attempts at staying in the shadows are useless and humanity’s fate is unknowingly doomed.

Eventually they will have to find his corpse and Sunny will gain next step of Weave. Blood, Bone, Soul. What's left? Flesh? Mind? Senses? Skin?

Hmm Sunny already fcked her brains out in regular manner.... maybe he should try the back door to get some benefits?

They seem to have lived in the dream realm, the citadels they built there tend to prove it.

Sunny once said that the gods were more than divine titans, so maybe demons don't have a kingdom like them.

Now, of course, Sunny knew the daemons had built their citadels in different realms, and so, it could as well have been a realm map. It was only after the Dream Realm had assimilated all mortal realms and five of the six divine realms that the daemonic strongholds ended up connected by land.

I don't think they have mentioned why, it was mostly sunny guessing that they went to war with gods to avenge the forgotten one...it has yet to be confirmed of its true or not

No one knows, it has not been revealed in the work yet. All we know is that it happened after Nether shed the blood of the Storm God and discovered the truth.

      What Ananke said:
No one really knows what resentment pushed the daemons to rise against the gods. It happened soon after the Demon of Desire escaped her chains. The youngest among them, the Demon of Destiny, called upon his siblings to wage war against the heavens… five answered his call, and only the Demon of Fate refused.
We can suppose Nether had a personal grudge against the gods since he went to war against Storm god before these events. And Hope had a very good reason to be mad at them, maybe the others didn't like the way the gods restricted their actions.

From what we’ve read, it’s because of the restrictions placed on the daemons by the gods, that they really didn’t like them, because they never explained why they were restricted. Then Sun god imprisoned hope and immolated her worshippers, ALSO without explanation of the forgotten god’s potential awakening, which resulted in them crossing a line.

At least, we know nether disliked the restrictions and wanted to rebel because of them, and can infer that hope’s imprisonment was also disliked. Weaver had already rebelled, supposedly because he already saw these events far in advance, and possibly because Weaver’s goal and the steps to it simply involved things that happened to go agains the god’s orders. What he did was simply circumventing the gods, going against their orders, not going against them. He did, however, seem to cause the calamity that killed the gods and daemons including himself before the war was over, but again this seems separate from any dislike of the gods.
