      One very astute observation I have made is that many of these miraculous dodges that Master Sunless has made was because he has tripped on his own feet. But is this even sensible? Being an Ascended and tripping so much? No it isnt! So my theory is that some mysterious Saint is hiding in his shadow and jolting his feet when an attack comes.

      Well, her abilities are most useful in aireal combat. Manipulating the weather, flying and the like aren't very useful abilities when you are on the bottom floor of a warehouse, unarmed, and in general caught by surprise.
      It's like asking why a grounded fighter jet is weak that it is loosing to a tank or infantry while it is in the hangar.

        Yeah not to mention they are probably Corrupted or Great Nightmare creature Corpses in there. Being jumped by even multiple corrupted creatures could definitely kill a saint whose abilities aren’t related to land combat.
