      The main reason is because of Anvil(ofc it is). Anvil gave up Mordret as a hostage to Asterion and then imprisoned him, he basically gave up on Mordret and his potential because he decided to cultivate Morgan. To Mordret, Morgan is one of the reasons he was cast aside and one of the many ways he can destroy/hurt Anvil.

      Since it’s confined to probs just bastion. If he has a body outside of it he’ll seem to realize that Tim has looped for him at bastion and then just implant his previous memories into that body till it resets again. Or maby he has a different way IDK.
