      I think Jets is worse in how it completely controls her life. She can literally never be anything but a killer, while Rain can still be anything but that.

      Definitely would be different if she was stuck with the spell though, solstice would be a borderline death sentence without serpent.

          Maybe? It's hard to say really, it's completely possible she'd have experienced a different first nightmare if she didn't have that flaw/aspect.
          Winter beast would have killed her if she still ended up in the government/military anyway I guess.

          Either way you are right that it is one of the very few flaws that does have obvious strength related advantages, doesn't really mean much if you don't want to be a killer though.

    Ok I understand that she kind of needs that ability to keep herself safe better, but this ideal does kind of fit how Rain and Sunny are similar in retaining their humanity.
