            They belong to a dead Titan, and the gods know how many ages have been destroyed by the Sun.
            He will crack them, or break off a corner. Anvil did it with a sword that is not designed to crush.

                  Now, you're wrong here. Leaving a scratch is purely a matter of hardness. Glass is harder than steel, and glass scratches steel. Diamond is harder than glass, and diamond scratches glass and steel. However, what will break when it collides with the other is another question.

In the rules of this novel, attack prevails over defense, and weaker creatures regularly break through the defenses of stronger ones. As for the dead god, his bones have been under constant damage from another god for many ages.
                  Anvil, who is on the next level but has only 1 core instead of 7, was able to damage these bones without losing anything.                   A creature may not be dead, but its bones are. Because its bones are not the creature itself, but the lost parts of its body. You're looking at it wrong; it's not just an Unholy Titan, but an Unholy Titan actively fighting and losing to the God of the Sun.
