    You know, there's irony to be found in Sunny's violent distaste for being a slave yet he subjects saint to the very same treatment. A case could be made for all his shadows except Saint. The way he acquired her was cowardly and sly, the rest are fallen enemies or natural gifts.

        That's not the point, before any ascension back on the forgotten shore when it was just a Shadow Slave and his enslaved shadow how could he subject her and order her around. At this point he knew she was alive yet there was no indication of unwavering loyalty from her, yet despite all his distaste for slavery he'd command her and subject her to do all sorts of things. Is that not hypocritical?
