The order in which you get your powers is different from the spell.

In the spell you get your flaw with your attribute.

If you go without the spell you have to find out your attribute and later find your flaw for ascension.

I assume your True Name comes once you reach the next step of ascenscion.

I understand everything, but Mordreth is broken. This temple contains four of his highest-level reflections. Somewhere there he controls the 13 matchmakers, and a bunch of ascended ones, etc.

Honestly, this is getting tiresome. Mordreth is smarter, more cunning, and stronger than Sunny, and he's very disappointed in the main character.

The first serious battle, and he fails miserably like a loser. He has three drops of god's f#cking ichor, three top-tier shadows, aspect inheritance, a f#cking divine bloodline of two gods, shadow dance and a huge amount of experience. But he still barely defeats a single saint.

After the arc in Ariel's tomb began, the author decided to make Sunny a complete loser and an absolute failure. Only in rare moments does he show off in front of weaklings. Previously, he fiercely gnawed victory from the souls of his enemies: the devil in the church, the seven heroes, the mimic, the horror of LO48, the goliath, the Nightmare, Solvain, the Gatekeeper in the Coliseum, Winter Beast, Serpent King, Mountain King, Auro of Nine etc. Almost all of them were much stronger than Sunny, at least by one rank, but he won. But now Sunny looks like an ordinary "strong" NPC, and Mordreth is the main character.

Sorry for the bunch of words, but I'm fed up with it. I think many of you will understand that the author is greatly weakening Sunny. Throughout the story, Sunny has been saying that memories and echoes/shadows are just tools and shouldn't be relied upon, but in fact, this is the only thing that makes the strong, the weakest of the strong.

Now he's lost most of his strongest memories, and the author is deliberately preventing him from creating them for himself. He had four years and a ton of material to make something for himself, but no, the author made Sunny an idiot.

All his power is the legacy of the Aspect, the serpent's most powerful weapon and the shadow of transformation, The lamp is the only reason he can transform, and it's just a shell; a drop of ichor enhanced his weaving, and the shadow domain guards the citadel. But the author decided to make Sunny is even weaker, so no more aspect legacies now.

The most cunning thing Sunny did in 4 years was to think of setting the nightmarish creatures on the sovereigns. Until the third nightmare arc, the balance between leveling and the story was perfect, and I wouldn't mind if the author slowed down Sunny's progress for the sake of the story, but the author simply ruined his leveling, and made everyone else stronger than him.

Before, when Sunny was in the heat of battle, I knew he was strong, but he underestimated how strong he was.

But now it feels like the author is underestimating Sunny's abilities for the sake of the plot, and that Sunny is actually weak.

Lowkirkenuinely don’t think you read it. Mordret is broken in concept but almost always falls short in some capacity. And yes, this is Sunny’s first serious fight as a saint and he barely won, but that’s an indication of strength, not weakness. Revel’s powers hard counter Sunny. It’s just a bad matchup, and he still won

Mordreth is smarter, more cunning, and stronger than Sunny

Mordret is probably smarter. Survivable? Certainly. More cunning? Stronger? I don’t know about that. Sunny would have killed him multiple times over by this point if they’d fought in earnest. The only reason Mordret is alive today is because he’s basically impossible to kill.

He has three drops of god's f#cking ichor,

No? What are you talking about

      aspect inheritance

I assume you mean Aspect Legacy. Semantics, but it ties into my final point

a f#cking divine bloodline of two gods,

Can you read? No he doesn’t. He has 3/7ths of Weaver’s lineage. Weaver’s lineage devoured Shadow God’s when he got a drop of Shadow God’s blood. So, no, he doesn’t

Not to mention Revel has an entire lineage, not 3/7ths of one

Presumably, when you mentioned three drops of god’s blood before, this is what you were talking about. You mentioned it twice for some reason (Ties into my final point)

      shadow dance

This is his Aspect Legacy, which you already mentioned. You listed it twice for some reason (This also ties into my final point)

and a huge amount of experience. But he still barely defeats a single saint.

A single Saint whose abilities hard counter his, who has more experience, who was raised directly by a Sovereign, and who has a complete divine lineage

After the arc in Ariel's tomb began, the author decided to make Sunny a complete loser and an absolute failure. Only in rare moments does he show off in front of weaklings.

Why would he show off? That’s literally retarded. He did everything he possibly could to stay obscure up until Antarctica, and that was only for his convoy. Why would he stop that now, especially when doing so would teach Song more about his abilities?

Previously, he fiercely gnawed victory from the souls of his enemies: the devil in the church, the seven heroes, the mimic, the horror of LO48, the goliath, the Nightmare, Solvain, the Gatekeeper in the Coliseum, Winter Beast, Serpent King, Mountain King, Auro of Nine etc. Almost all of them were much stronger than Sunny, at least by one rank, but he won. But now Sunny looks like an ordinary "strong" NPC, and Mordreth is the main character.

This is true. He’s strong enough now that he doesn’t need to claw victory from the jaws of death anymore. In this particular case, it was just a bad matchup. That’s it

Also Mordret is literally featless what are you talking about

Throughout the story, Sunny has been saying that memories and echoes/shadows are just tools and shouldn't be relied upon, but in fact, this is the only thing that makes the strong, the weakest of the strong.

What? No? Sunny is insanely strong without his memories

Now he's lost most of his strongest memories, and the author is deliberately preventing him from creating them for himself. He had four years and a ton of material to make something for himself, but no, the author made Sunny an idiot.

He doesn’t need them and he doesn’t want to be reliant on them. It’s as simple as that

Sunny's progress for the sake of the story, but the author simply ruined his leveling, and made everyone else stronger than him.

You reached this conclusion based on ONE fight against someone who, once again, hard countered him. Try again 😭🥀✌️

Before, when Sunny was in the heat of battle, I knew he was strong, but he underestimated how strong he was.

But now it feels like the author is underestimating Sunny's abilities for the sake of the plot, and that Sunny is actually weak.

yadda yadda you’re wrong repeat everything I said above

      I understand everything

      In conclusion, no you don’t.
