    Imagine being able to hear yourself from nearly any fatal wound for most of yourself only to have that power stripped away. Seeing as Nephis’s is transcendent battle art really depends a decent amount on her ability to heal (as mentioned in prior chapter) I wonder how this will play out for her . . .

    Why does everyone in the song domain apparently have cheat codes? Floods of true darkness and anti-healing/anti-armor abilities are like... the most ridiculous powers in the realm. Jet has to suffer a leaking core and being living dead to gain the power to bypass armor and flesh. Morgan could be the counterpart and she has... a really good battle art and can copy some attributes.

      I don't think they do really, it's just Mordrets usual plot device stuff making it come across that way. The true darkness wouldn't have been as much of an issue without him being able to multiply it (still a problem of course, she's been an obvious counter for a while now), same with crippling Nephis's healing.

      They're well planned matchups, but it's really just the offscreen prince with the (sometimes) completely busted aspect.



      Also, Jets flaw is incredibly harsh (though also one of the few with obvious benefits), but her attacks directly targeting the soul is way better than any normal AP. Particularly for how early she got it.
