      True but I feel like it could be different now because remember there weren’t this many nightmare creatures roaming around in the ancient times of the dream realm. So basically rain will have to fight way more than a normal awakened from the past. Also it’s not completely sure whether she can never get access to the nightmare spell in the future. The only reason why Sunny can’t is because he’s cut off from Fate. Comparatively Rain still has her fate so she can still become a Nightmare Spell Carrier even if she isn’t right now.
