    if rain stays in the song domain, there is a very high chance for her anomalous awakening to be discovered, and that would raise more that a couple of eyebrows. after all, she is pretty well known as a mundane from ravenheart, to the road crew to the scouting party. it would be highly suspicious if she falls down the gorge with tamar as a mundane, then miraculously survives days later as an awakened. moreover, she is quite proficient in combat which is easy to discern for people with even a bit of ability so that also raises more questions. that said, i don't think tamar would easily just disclose rain's abilities even tho she is quite duty-bound. her honor and sentimentality would probably prevent her from doing that. but how the other legacies would react is still difficult to predict. who knows, maybe their little escapade would be overshadowed by the bustle of the incoming war, which would be the best possible outcome. she may also be taken in by sorrow under tamar's voucher, which would maybe help sunny in infiltrating the castle, tho i don't think sunny would risk rain's safety just for his own agenda.
    bottomline, the longer she stays in song domain, the greater her chances of getting tangled into trouble, whatever it may be.

    if rain leaves with sunny, she may have a hard time going because of her family in ravenheart. her brothers can't carelessly leave song or they would get pulled into the nightmare. but leaving is also the best choice for rain if she wants to improve her abilities. after all, she wouldn't have to hide her abilities outside of song domain, and sunny would be free to instruct her on advanced stuff. it would be counterproductive if she multitasks condensing her essence while escaping the tyrant as she drags tamar if after all that, she just remains in song while hiding her abilities just so she can remain lowkey.

      I don't think so, it's time to end Rain's arc, after waking up there's nothing left for her to do in the story. All that's left is for Sunny to forge Nephis' weapon or go find the piece of Weaver's bloodline to start the war.

        I disagree, there's no way G3 would spend that much time on the development of Rain just to end it as a simple awakened, her story is far from over. (Maybe it might be over just until the end of the war)

    I’d kill her too if I was sunny, or at least a dose of poison just enough to finish her after they get to their destination. The citadel is close by after all.

      Have you even been reading the novel up to this point? What makes you think Sunny would ever kill Tamar, most of his worries are about how to convince Rain to leave Song domain and killing her new friend would ruin everything.

    Okay so this chapter just confirms what many of us were expecting from Sunny, but I wish we had 1 more chapter today gloom. On the good side, I think the next 3 chapters will be the conclusion for the rain arc, if not, it will be done within this week for sure
