      Because fate isn't simple. Sunny is fated to be bound to Nephis. Canceling Shadow Bond wouldn't prevent Fate from binding him to Nephis in a different way.

      That's like the fate knives from an earlier knife. You could throw them in the void, but they'd still magically reappear later.
