Contemplating a risky move, Mordret is distracted by something in the city’s heart. Cassie, wounded and cornered at Twilight’s gates, uses her Echo to buy time, facing Soul Stealer’s puppets with her rapier. Nephis reaches the collapsed Serpent King’s palace, confronting Soul Stealer’s true form—a monstrous figure in a vermilion cloak. Surrounded by endless vessels, her sword broken and body impaled by seven spears, Nephis refuses to yield. Declaring herself free of restraint, she unleashes her full power as Changing Star, her radiance exploding as she absorbs Twilight’s flames. Her six soul cores blaze, one cracking, as she overwhelms Soul Stealer with blinding light, transforming the battlefield into a radiant inferno.
