    holy shit! shadow dance is actually genuinely overpowered. one day he can just look at a nightmare creature and transform into them. and people calling this plot armour are retarded. he studied the butterfly on the turtle, the island and on the wall. with how much he advanced at the fourth step it makes nothing but sense he can do this.

    Honestly seeing sunny fight as nightmare creatures is more entertaining than him fighting in his own body, this is one of the few fights i actually enjoyed reading. I mostly read novels for the lore but if a figh is violent and brutal or has a lot of planning beforehand like most of klein's fights in lotm i tend to skip through it

    The thing that i understand now nightmare creatures are simple distinguished by their class and rank and their physical aspect, humans are much more powerful than them cause they can multiple aspects, nightmare spell humans go even higher they have multiple aspects, memories, echoes, plus the nature of their aspect also defines their vitality, so if a nightmare spell challenger becomes defiled they are really harrowing and much powerful than normal nightmare creatures of same rank

      woudn't say that... it makes sense that Sunny couldn't kill alone Deflied Jet nor Deflied Effie, because of their aspects. But in Kai case, he can: fly (no physical neither soul enhace)... he can fly faster (was it his awakened ability?)... he can say mental commands (sunny's inmune) and he can transform into a dragon. Sure, a dragon is strong. But not as strong as Effie enhaced physical body should be. Sunny surrounded by six shadows with infinite soul essence recovery rate should be capable of killing Dread Lord, a Corrupted Tyrant (he has already killed corrupted tyrants), sure, Dread Lord is not a simple Corrupted, but neither as strong as Effie's or Jet's deflied.
