    If I explain in short the third nightmare is like revolutions of wind flower Island but on a large scale and except starting after completion of a certain time the revolution resets everything if all challengers die, you can make changes in your revolutions but if all of you fails, the third nightmare resets, third nightmare is itself a loop...

    So here's what happend sunny entered the nightmare at estuary where time meets between past and future completing full circle of time, at that moment when he entered he was mad prince of previous revolution, when he exited the estuary mad prince revolution completed and sunny was send to the far reach of the future to take the role of the person who's body matches with sunny, just like in first and second nightmare, the nightmare exactly starts when you take the role of a person in the nightmare, but sunny first completed the revolution of mad prince and then started the nightmare, that explains how all the defiled version of cohort are still present cause their revolution will complete when they die, just as how devouring beast and undying slaughter died so their revolution got completed and that also explains why sin of solace was complete cause as we saw on wind flower island that SOS can remember past revolutions, so due to large amount of time that went through past revolutions SOS body got completed and he remembers every revolution too just like loop and that also explains how mad prince floatsam was present there, cause he was at the outer boundary of estuary where sunny will enter, that also explains how did key of estary memory entered his soul cause he first replaced mad prince so mad prince memories automatically entered sunny's soul...

    Why SOS said that grew old ages ago cause he knew what happend in previous revolutions, so he became numb to what sunny was feeling at moment, so SOS didn't mocked him

      Thanks for the explanation. It helped a lot. But I have a couple of questions. Why did only sunny get mad prince's body? Is it because only mad prince completed his revolution and the other defiled did not? Is that the reason why other cohort members did not get the body of the defiled because all the other defiled did not complete the revolution?

        Sorry for the late reply I think yeah since sunny was the only one who reached estuary and completed one cycle that was a possibilty but I am not quite sure about that since we didn't got much info about what happend in other revolutions suppose a revolution where whole cohort entered estuary or the first revolution where there was no attack on twilight city as dark lord and soul stealer wasn't present since starting of revolution...

          Since their past? Future? Selfs had become defiled, it would make sense that they no longer have only 1 soul core, which would make those bodies no longer compatible to replace since they are like complete different existences. But sunny already had multiple cores so the spell recognized his self as compatible. No clue who nephis replaced though and if we will ever know

    Damn this is hard to wrap my head around but I think I get it so orginaly Sunny and Co spawned in and got corrupted and in some point in time crossed the estuary in the proses becoming Saints and while their were corupted the starts the beginning of a new loop where the Current Sunny spawned in and his past self's actions and the imprint he left in the river influenced current Sunnys actions

      Here is the simple version: sunny found out that the river was a an infinite circle ⭕️ that is how it is an endless river the top being the past the bottom being the future and the board he was riding on took him from when he was the mad prince back to the beginning once he made a full circle past the estuary

    So Great River is a loop, defiled cohort is from preivous loops. Sunny spawned in entrance of Estuary, then left it while floating randomly. Estuary is in where Past and Future met and space and time f#cked up in that place ps My English is f#cked up too
