    All the creatures whose souls were destroyed by Jet died. This could be Jet's transcendent ability, but I think her ability will deal with a further form of destruction, not preservation of the body. Then maybe Effie can consume souls now? Or the creature's soul collapsed after not being able to handle the strain of repeated resurrections due to the time loop.

      Back when Sunny was awakened, he and Jet hunted down a rogue Awakened who had gone mad. He had removed the souls from several people by striking their shadows, leaving them hollow. Jet said that she had the ability to do the same if she was extremely precise. There’s no new ability in play here, just Jet doing her regular thing.

      thats because sunny is not far from insane right now. lets use sin of solace. the sin of solace slowly drives the wielders mad and becomes clearer the madder its user is. in the begining in antartica arc he could barely hear it whisper. then he could hear a sentence. eventually he could full on hear and see it. now here in the third nm he is having whole ass conversations with it. hes not sane right now
