As soon as the Drowned Warrior peered into the Echo's eyes, his body convulsed. An indescribable sound escaped from the mouth of the demon, followed by a fountain of blood.
It reminded me of the eye of penitence from Ghost Rider. swindler ahaa wish oru2x

worse than that, the Drowned feared neither pain nor death. They knew only a dark and cold resolve to see the enemy fall

So they will win right... because they have more "desire" and they don't fear death, just like Mordret in his fight against Morgan? Right!?

Are we still hung up on this? It was a little ridiculous that Morgan's battle will was broken that easily by Mordred's unquenchable desire but the principle itself is sound. An opponent who's mentally distracted and ill at ease will make more mistakes than one entirely devoted to a single objective. And a master manipulator like Mordred can easily exploit such a weakness since that's what he's good at - defeating physically stronger opponents with a superior mental game

as much as i like Shadow Slave this arc has been pretty booring with shitty af pacing not to mention these long af paragraphs it has been around 150 chapters since the nightmare began and all that has happened so far is "him meeting neph spending some time alone then kill a serpent then meet with ananke(the only interesting enough part) then go to weave then leave then struck in some time storm for many chapters then reach the city of fallen grace then meet with cassie now saving their party memebers" ts didnt need 150 chapters to fit in not to mention many chapters have some just random obv bs and this arc has been pretty predictable till now maybe theres a deeper meaning behind all thats happening but still 150 for all this is too much specially compared to other arcs hopping author is cooking something to reedem ts 3rd nightmare has been booring afffffffff so far am i even reading the same Shadow Slave i was 150 chapters ago 12
i wouldnt be surprised if it takes them 20 chapters just to kill the sybil and go save effie and jet sigh

Maybe take a break for a week, then you'll not feel like this.

this $hit happens to me pretty often, especially when I read for a long, long time or after a conclusion of any arc.
After a break or two things will become normal again.

And the long paragraphs are this site problem
      Try 𝑛𝑜𝑣𝑒𝑙 𝑓𝑖𝑟𝑒...

Oh yea I get it. Second time reader here, but first time for the last couple chapters, I just skipped it the first time, won't really miss much tbhas long as you skip to the end of the arc instead of skipping it entirely

I completely agree. I remember reading the Antarctica arc with bated breath, staying up until 6am reading the Second Nightmare and Reyna arcs. I also remember reading the Solstice arc with wild interest. But this arch disappointed me. I could easily read a couple of chapters and put it aside for a couple of days, simply because I was tired of reading. I expected more intense passions, more plot points, development, and more connections between their nightmare and the lore of the Dream Kingdom, but instead I received tedious tons of text and kilometers-long paragraphs of the author's graphomania. There are only two interesting moments in this arc, Ananke, and the brief flirtations between Nef and Sunny.

It has been many many chapters since Sunny's fragment counter have been shown. I wonder how far is he from becoming terror.

Hmm, I'll have to update it since the site's url has changed, from .top to .net

The script is set to be enabled only on ranobes.top sigh
