      I would like to point out it out in two views:
      1. The “ship” refers to the concept of that specific vessel. Modifying that vessel would not change the core of the concept in anyway whatsoever. As such, it is still the same concept and the “ship” has not changed.
      2. The “ship” refers to the form of that specific vessel. Any change to that vessel would make it different, as ShipBeforeChange ≠ ShipAfterChange. As such, it is not the same form and the “ship” has changed.

          I was confused because I never thought of him loving her as unwilling, like where is he forcing himself to love her? He doesn't even realise he loves her for now to an extent...

          Ig if you mean 'fate' finding ways to keep together as unwilling, because then you could say that he even made friends with Kai, Effie, etc unwillingly since without his flaw, he'd keep hiding things and lying to others...?
