    A theory of my own.
    I think The person sunny took place is the madman who carved wish on the piece of wood he found. And I suspect that person is a special someone, maybe no other than sunny himself. Since the river represents "time" itself basicially, there is %100 an interaction with their future self, so I bet that is the case.

    as much as i read the goals of nephis to destroy the spell seems so worthless now, the spell is stopping corruption at a very early stage in earth humans doesn't become corrupted after first nightmare so it stops at dormant rank or maximum at awakened rank which is really good if you consider a world where there wont be nightmare spell, eventually corruption would find its way in it and destroy it and since humans don't have any knowledge like ancient humans in how to achieve ascension in a natural way, the whole human society might had doomed, spell is protecting them providing a chance not destroying them like corruption is doing...
