Literally the forgotten again except much worse because realistically it'll take alot more to kill one of these guys than the monsters in the forgotten shore. Also their is less potential for growth here than in the forgotten shore

I love this twist the author did. Ever since the beginning of the story, but especially since Sunny has became a master, we have been taught that masters are on another level of power, independent powerhouses who bring hope to those below them. While there has been some struggles along the way, this has been mostly shown as the truth. However, this idea has now been completely turned on its head. You have masters running for their lifes because they have to in order to survive, you have them all being exhausted and falling into despair. This helplessness, weak, and despite state of the ppl/cohort is someone we haven't seen since the forgotten shore and I think that its extremely interesting to see.

Re reading this again and you come to realize that Sunny is a bit of an unreliable narrator when it comes to his power. He massively downplays his own power and we become influenced by that perception and the high perception he has of others so that's why people keep complaining he is not strong enough.

I am telling you guys by the time they reach Saints you guys will no longer complain about Sunny's power and strength and saying that Mordret or Nephis is more op than him. Even by the end of their time as masters you will no longer hold that perception and realize how op Sunny's power is.

    Trust me

Exactly. I try to explain the intricacies involved to some deeply misguided bunch in the comments but their misconceptions have been so deeply ingrained that they keep forgetting facts and pursue their own reasoning blindly.

yea i swear. nephis and mordret would have been stronger than him as sleeper/awakened but after master it just changes.

How is it misguided if their basis is what the novel shows? Mordret as a master plays around with sunny and then no diffs him whenever he likes if he has all his reflections. Sunny and nephis are relative but nephis still has the edge. Sunny is also weaker than morgan by this point.

Currently fp Mordret no diffs sunny lol, its not even about sunny being an unreliable narrator in relation to prowess

No diff is wild because full power as masters with Sunny's shadows and memories against mordrets reflections and powers is so much closer than you think but I would still give it to Sunny

Based on what exactly? Mordret with just his 4 reflections was able to hold off whispering blade whos leagues above someone like dire fang who nephis and sunny together barely beat. 4 reflections btw and he has 6. Mordret no diffs.

Idk how that's a flex that Mordret had to send 4 of his reflections against Whispering Blade? Among the reflections and shadows at this time, by the end of when they are masters, Saint is way stronger, and she is far more powerful than a human saint, so she can take on a few, along with Fiend and Serpent. Now one on one, without the shadows and reflections, Mordret vs Sunny, Sunny is definitely winning

How is it not a flex when whispering blade is easily one of the strongest saints we have ever seen yet mordret can stalemate without even using his full power? Also stop shifting the goal post, im talking about currently as in vol 6 and you are talking about end of when they are masters which is vol 7. In vol 6, saint could only beat 1 reflection and that reflection wasn't of a strong saint like whispering blade either. Prove saint can take on multiple saint reflections, and that the rest of his shadows can take on rest of his reflections. Sunny admits inferiority to morgan and mordret beat morgan lol

I never once moved the goal post like you said. my original comment was about their power by the end of their time as masters. This has been my whole point, which you have responded to. The reflections Mordret had created during this battle were mostly all transcendent beasts, with maybe one or two a higher class. I am not sure if you are a rereader or have reached that part yet or not but I am going to put a spoiler in case.

                Fiend (Transcendent Devil)

                Saint (Transcendent Devil)

                Serpent

                Nightmare

Now Mordret is great and op, but with my arguments with Sunny's Shadows, most of them being of the same rank as Mordret's reflections at that time however, all of them at a much higher class, puts them in a much power as they have more abilities and intelligence than Mordret's Reflections who were mostly of Transcendent Beasts.

And that thing of Sunny admitting inferiority is my whole point on my original comment with him downplaying himself and elevating others. Words and actions are very different, Sunny is much stronger than Morgan and he proved that with his actions and display of power

Your original comment covered 2 points, I said sunny being an unreliable narrator doesn't matter if mordret currently no diffs him and this is a vol 6 chapter, but you disagreed and said no sunny beats him.

As for the rest of the stuff, uh reflections being beasts doesn't matter, they have aspect abilities. Also i haven't completed vol 7 i would come back to this when im done. Mordret violates this bum for now as of end vol 6 where im at

Just from the times he had to fight among other people and with the best example that last fight killing a saint, there is no question to how strong he is. But ofc he is insecure about himself 90% of the time and thats where we see his character progression at trusting more in himself. The people that get frustrated at that, i guess just lack reading comprehension
