    Ok so Quentin is basically confirmed dead, unless like he has the [Fated] attribute and coincidentally finds himself next to a second nightmare gate, then after finding one he survives. Moreover, after doing all of that he has to now escape the Falcon Scott and the Southern Quadrant running with Corrupted and Great abominations.....

      no the great nightmare creatures are in east antartica meanwhile quentin is in the antartic center. there is a vast couple hundred kilometers of sea in between. and even if the great nightmare creatures came the winter beast would kill any demon or lower. altough that will be talked about a bit later

        Distance doesn't matter. Remember Sunny's reply when his soldiers asked him what to do of Quentin's body? It was during the section where Sunny was deciding who to send away from Antarctica on the last boat. Sunny replied it didn't matter even if Quentin's body was destroyed. Because as an Awakened, his soul is already somewhere inside the Dream Realm, or inside his 2nd Nightmare. So if he dies, no point saving his body. And if he survives, the Spell would create him a new Ascended body.

            Well you said Quentin isn't dead because his body is in central Antarctica and the Great Nightmare Creatures are in Eastern Antarctica and there's a vast couple hundred kilometres of sea between them.

    I thought this war was a chance to make both clans a bit equal, but again clan valor seem to be on the losing end, they lost one of their strongest saints if not the strongest and a corrupted titan, while clan song only lost a vassal saint

      Doesn't really matter. Emergence of multiple category 4 Gates was an unforeseen event. Both by the standards of the recent past trends and the Obel Scale. And Sovereigns can't enter the Waking World, as told by Neph to Sunny.

    I don't understand why the second solution is not going to work. The saints can put an anchor in the desert right? And travel back and forth bringing people with them without going to the same area in the waking world

      But for that they need to establish there anchor in nightmare desert and for that they to find a gateway so that there anchor could get establish to that spot, if not when they escape to waking world and try to travel back to dream realm without call effecting there anchor, then they will at their gateway to which they are anchored not the nightmare desert

    Why does he think this magic citadel will save him? He'll just be returning to Antarctica close to the path of these great titans... where he will immediately die because he's still a master. Logic fail. He either has to become a saint and deal with the potential sovereign fallout or kill himself now. Because returning to Antarctica as he is means death anyways.

      well being in a place where there is actually people will be much better than in a place where you may die anytime and the environment itself is constantly trying to kill you. The Great Abominations in Antarctica will most likely be, if not taken care of, suppressed by the Supreme beings. While Antarctica is still dangerous, it is better to be in a place where there is a hope, than being in a place where hope is completely lost

        what supreme beings?the sovereigns cant easily enter the waking world anymore.and they wouldnt for a mere battlefield used to expand their domains so no,the great beings can only be taken care of if a LOT of saints join hands.

      If he can return to the waking world, he can travel to his citadel anchor in the dream realm. From there he can seek out a saint and convince them to take him back to the waking world tf away from Antarctica.
